Does that mean for example if you are a member of the EFF and your leaders are openly racist, does make you one as well just by association? He got 95% average. Isn't that just unfair. But they let the black guy study with an average of 70%.... That is ridiculous. This is racist to not accept someone because of their skin colour. The first point you raise, the med school applicant, i cannot say its fair, but what i do know is that we as "Africans" were not allowed into med school for eons. even today, it is very difficult to get admitted to med school. my brother passed grade 12, average of 85, his application is still "pending". Whilst Indians with lower marks have been accepted into UKZN. My point is policies differ from one institution to the next. Second point, I'm in business, I am struggling, I cannot do business with "white' clients/ corporates and I cannot do business with government because of corruption. But now and then, I do get a call from white clients who are desperate for "BEE' points, and this is the only reason they will do business with me. Is this fair? If there was no "BEE" legislation, would I even stand a chance? Look around, all banks are white owned, what are the odds of me getting a business loan? Next to zero.
