@@natf6747 I did an internship one summer in Alabama and I all of a sudden realized what college football can really mean. I absolutely love it, but going to the south was almost like a going to comic-con where all of a sudden everyone was putting my relative amount of love to shame.

I am from the South East, thus the joke. and moved out to Texas for school. Even in this "southern" state with its college football tradition, it is nothing like my home. I am literally living in a city with a power 5 team and I would see more love for college football from a small town in the farmlands of the southeast then I see in a college town in Texas. When I ask people what kind of football they like most it is always the NFL or they don't like football. This blows my mind coming from where I come from. In the southeast, the NFL is a joke, and at least 80 percent of the population knows college football. As people move to the south and try to change us, which I think is illogical, you see that number dropping. But yeah. College football in the South is HUGE. All the Michigan or Ohio State fans are talking about their culture and I just laugh. Then they cry they are the same and I just laugh at them again. Because I am the guy that spends most of my Saturday watching college football, they are the ones coming into the room to watch half of their teams game.
I knew A&M had truly been accepted by the SEC when SEC shorts understood them enough to start joking with them.

Even as an Alabama fan, I was hoping after the Alabama guy was so happy, a Clemson dressed quartet would show up for him.

Of all the beautiful episodes that SEC Shorts has done over the years - and there are many I return to over and over - this is the one I revisit most frequently. I'd love to see the barbershop quartet make a triumphant return to the series someday.

Yeah UT is stuck in an inferior conference because they can’t win in their inferior conference. They only just now got out of their post-Mack Brown funk. Why doesn’t A&M come back, win the championship every year, and beat Texas over and over if the conference is so weak. It would beat playing second-fiddle to Alabama and Georgia every. single. year.
Thomas Urech OU is a good program. Other than that it’s not much going on there. UT is getting better so good for them. In order to actually get better A&M had to go to the SEC and they are finally starting to become legitimate. It’s helped with recruiting tremendously and quite frankly second fiddle to Alabama is better than second fiddle to OU. A&M wasn’t that great in the Bog 12 but I had fun rooting for them as underdogs to UT and OU anyway. And to Texas Tech fans I say at least we don’t have our own STD.
That’s the real analysis and situation, so now we can go back to having fun and good hearted jabs at one another.
