Euphoria was just prophetic man. It was like a body shot that’s initially just a good shot and could be shaken off but then you notice the type of injury it did days later

Especially when you get the full "What's the Dirt" breakdown of how the first part of the song was via Drake perspective and was totally Drake's sneak diss style. He was giving lots of sub warnings for Drake then full on warning, don't go there!
On the first verse on 6:16, Kendrick was praying, he was not rapping about the opponent but himself.

Kendrick already won with euphoria, and we just didnt really realize it. But looking back, euphoria did everything he needed done and more.

I can’t be the only one who thought that Family Matters wasn’t a good song. Push Ups was far better in terms of cohesion and purpose. Family Matters was average and only looked good because it came with a video. He would have “won” with it because nobody truly pays attention to Drake’s songs. They just vibe. This battle forced people to really listen to him and he didn’t measure up. It made me realize that he’s only considered a GOAT due to longevity and not skill.
Family Matters draaaaaags. It feels every bit of that 7 minutes and change. It’s because of Drakes kinda monotone delivery and not really changing up the flow for the verses. The 3 flows he had for each verse didn’t change.

yeah Drake was working Cole for a while. thats why i just cant get onboard the "oops i felt bad about this" Cole apology. i think he was gased up. by his team and probably by Drake even indirectly. he thought this was his time to finally get away from the comparisons to Kendrick. and he didnt realize how closely he would be scrutinized when his angle of attack was weirdly against Kendricks discography which im sorry say what you will, that is certified, unquestionable. i think Drake wanted Kendrick and Cole to take each other out, and he wins without even doing anything. Drake didnt expect Cole to pull out, much less lose.
I agree. I am a big j Cole fan since his come up and i was disappointed that he didn’t see how drake moves and how many people in the industry hate him. He’s a street smart dude so it’s weird to me that he didn’t see the facade that drake puts up . I used to think j Cole was better than Kendrick but as of last year and after this beef kendrick is on a different planet

Pushups wasnt good as a shot at Kendrick. Contract splits arent relevant to Kendricks image. Thats the task - kendricks image. Drake didnt know how to approach Kendrick and intentionally addressed everyone else. Kendricks image is culturally based, not about flexing contract splits, and Drake didnt want to go near Kendricks image because he isn't equipped. Thats how he got smacked with the Atlanta verse.
