No they do not need to be word perfect as long as you show understanding. Having said that as you are doing a part 2 I would be aiming to get them near word perfect as you will then be passing on this information to your learners in the near future. For example: "Tell me how you would make sure your tyres have sufficient tread depth and are safe for use on the road." On a learner test they typical would accept... "There should be at least 1.6mm of tread and no cuts" But for part 2 they might be more harsh and expect more, such as: " There should be at least 1.6mm of tread across the central 3/4 of the tyre and the entire circumference. There should be not cuts of bulges or foreign objects, such as nails"
