      The sequencers in the latest workstation synthesizers are very poor, because manufacturers assume that you'll connect it to the computer anyway. 😕

      @@michalmyszkin7714 Which has always been a mistake on their end.. If a composer is in the creative mode, he or she does not want to stop or have limitations on them to finish a project/song. Ludo's to Roland for at least trying to bridge the gap btw the onboard sequencer and a DAW.

      The Nautilus reuses a lot of the components used in the Korg Kronos. The sequencer interface here is just a "simpler" front-end to what was already used in the Kronos. So there is no piano roll, or editing UI that would be normally seen as on their Krome keyboard. On another note, I wish there would be an update on their flagship workstations (Kronos series and now Nautilus) would have the same sequencer editing UI as their mid-range keyboards. I'm still baffled as to why you have better sequencer layout/editing on your lower end products as compared to the flagship products.

    Some drumkits or sound have no FX in Sequencer mode and in solo mode it have FX. Like the gated/Distortion kit.

    So I recorded the most beautiful seven songs from my album only to find nautilus erased them when it auto shut down. Whyyyyyy!! It is supposed to save everything in sequence. Automatically. Came back and they were all gone. Very heartbroken and disappointed Korg. What the hell?

    It's really painful to see you pressing those 'play' button combinations. Why not to make separate 'transport' view with big controls and track select/mute/solo/arm buttons. While recording I really don't need to see volume and pan controls. Besides, you didn't show how loop/overwrite/add data works and I don't see loop button anywhere. Another thing, is it possible to record both midi and audio data (audio in) at the same time?

    • @frankymino8773
      @frankymino8773 Před 2 lety +1

      He won't answer you cause he doesn't know how to loop/overwrite/add data/ or even start a sequence from scratch etc.... But he can show you how to select a combi! That's about it with the vid.

    I just got one of these, and this guy goes way too fast. How do you just start from scratch? How do you save a pattern? How do you chain patterns together to make a song? I have some figuring out to do.

    • @frankymino8773
      @frankymino8773 Před 2 lety +2

      Yeh I wish he would just demonstrate how to use the sequencer from scratch. For the life of me I cannot find any demonstration that shows how to do this. Every vid just jumps straight into combi's and template tracks, arps etc etc..... Or does this guy have no idea how to do it? I am in the market for a workstation though I want to be sure I can create my own piece from scratch. I'm a songwriter and I need to be inspired by my own creations. Not interested in combi's and templates. Just want to bring up a piano patch and build from there.

      Well said! You would also think they would integrate their soft synths within the workstation. And I also just don't understand why manufacturers incorporate terrible keybeds. They just feel like plastic toys.
