Im watching this in june 2024, im astounded how a man at 80 can still sound this good!!?? I saw him live at the Bournemouth international centre in 1988 when i was 10 and he still sounds the same!! Its amazing. Long live Cliff.
He has been treated appallingly by the British media. Cliff is a National Treasure. Great voice after all these years, he’s clearly taken good care of it. He’s on fine form.

Karen Rufus Cliff has looked after his voice well; he’s never had nodules ( unlike Elton). Cliff warms up his voice well and unlike Elton and Paul, Cliff never pushes his voice and he knows what he can get away with. I would imagine to have kept his voice in good condition for 60 something years; he sees a vocal coach. I like Elton and Paul but their voices are shot!!

I personally love Dreamin a lot more than We Don’t Talk Anymore. This is what the world loves and that’s why the song is more popular than Dreamin. Don’t get me wrong. The melody of We Don’t Talk Anymore is pretty good. The lyrics attract the world because there are many people not talking anymore among families, workplaces and relationships. People love to echo on the song and their realities.
Although ive seen this video before im putting my comments fittingly now because cliff has just embarked on his sapphire tour at age 83! What a fantastic guy for someone who could still sing in the same key 41years after the song was originally recorded.

Love this. I must see Sir Cliff one day in Concert. He stills has it. I guess it is the Tennis that keeps him fit and his Faith. I was a child when my Family and I walked into the same Restaurant as he was dining and saw him leaving the West Croydon Restaurant that had the best Indian Vegetarian food back in the early 80's.💛
