Saw these pop up on RPP and was wondering about em. In the market for a dedicated basher but didn't want to go ham on a 4-8s rig. My only concern is parts availability for them. Price has me REALLY interested, same with the ARRMA Big Rock. Appreciate the speed test brother! 👍👊🍻

Let me know what you think. There's kind of mixed reviews on the durability of this truck. I've seen some videos at a skatepark and it did pretty good but some other people are telling me that there is broke in the first 5 minutes
@@JayTeeRC this was my first Rc 2 years ago. It breaks so easily on 3s. The electronics are capable for 3s but definitely not 2s. After breaking it so often, i was almost out of the hobby. I decided later on to buy a traxxas maxx v2 and the difference in quality and reliability is huge. The maverick does however have a special place in my hear and i do recommend it as a first rc since i have learned so much about the hobby because of this. If you get on and run it on 2s it will be much more reliable.
I miss high clearance MT’s and use to love my DHK Crosse but they are hard to find now. Is this tough for mild bashing on dirt and parking lots?
Hey @JayTee RC! These have been out in the UK for a while now and I love it! Yes...the bendy axles are a thing but there is a super easy and hella cheap fix for this...I'm just asking politely if I can share the link to the video about it to you and your viewers? Not trying to promote another channel just help!

@@JayTeeRC Yeah my 4 and a half year old son loves the Kaiju. Hehe. I drive the other one next to him. Hehe. Pretty durable truck after I did some personal tweaking that I learned from the Arrma forum of all places. I started a discussion about the Kaiju when it was new and now it has like 56 pages in the general chaos section. 🤣

I think they're getting them in. I'm trying to check up on that because I was told they were going to have them but I think there's a problem with the shipping as it is with other companies and stuff as well.

Love the looks of this truck but now its 270 bucks I don't know why after cars have been out for so long the prices jump up but it did say "new upgraded" maybe that's why it jumped up 60 bucks idk but good video jtee love your channel And videos man.

My redcat volcano seems like it does 40 easily on 2s 50c lipo, I race traffic going down the street on the sidewalk and beat them most of the time lol

If you jump a little or crash at a speed not very fast, it gets disastrous, the axles of the wheels bend, it is not very good in that aspect, my recommendation is to change all the axles for hd steel, not jump with this rc, or nor crash at high speed, otherwise it will be disastrous, to drive it in wide spaces is very good
Purchase another one and you got yourself some "MONSTER SKATES" shit would look lit hahaha

Not yet the weather's been kind of crazy here it's about 30 degrees right now and I've been pretty busy lately. But I'll try to get it out tomorrow or Monday to do some off-road run
