In 1989 I moved to Boston to go to art school. I got a double CD of Surfer Rosa/Come on Pilgrim and I played it over and over and over and over again. I played it so loudly that I was evicted from the loft in South Boston by the bay (?) because the neighbors complained that I would not stop blasting Pixies day and night.
