I don’t know if you’d want to try it, but you don’t need to put your washi higher up to suit the style of planning you do. If you white out the top and bottom lines of the boxes, the only overlapping you’d do is slightly putting a glitter header over a box. The SLIGHTEST bit. I bring this up because of the full boxes that were lower on the bottom row. I’ll be using this kit in August because I’m GOING to see this movie in theaters and all my weeks in July are already assigned kits. Haha, priorities!
Hey Kirsten I was wondering if you are going to put up your budget video or is it to late? I really like them.
Pro tip for cutting your washi: put the ruler on top of the half that you will be using. It’ll protect it if you ever go off the line
Next time you cut washi place the ruler over the washi you want to keep so you don't accidentally slice over it. Just how you did the longer washi! :)
Congratulations on the new place! You’re definitely not bragging about it. That’s a darn good feeling to feel content about where you live! I don’t have cable so I can’t watch any Teen mom and it’s so annoying because that’s one series I can’t ever quit. This kit and your layout is awesome! Glad your move went well. I hate it when my son goes for a sleep over. I don’t sleep then. I only do it if I really have to. It makes me so sad.
Ive suggested this before but get a paper slicer. It will be faster, straighter amd easier to cut your washi
I've totally been out of the loop with EC lately but did she modify the size of the boxes? It seems like the headers don't fit perfectly with the full boxes. Loved this kit, I can't wait to see the new movie! Congrats on your new apartment, that's so exciting!!

So, this is totally a random snippet of your pwm, but I FEEEEEL you on the nails. My nails dont grow so I get tips and I tried the dip powder after you started getting them. I looooove the glitter, it's so pretty. But, my nails start peeling up like that in like a week every time. It makes me so sad and I understand, because it hurts soooo bad.

It might be better to just get an actual exacto knife. I have a regular one from Michael’s and never had an issue even after 2 years. The blade is sharp so you’ll just have to make sure you keep the cap on when not in use, but I love my exacto knife!😊 I love this spread. It is so beautiful.
I feel like exacto knives might last longer. However, they are very sharp and make it easier to cut through the paper. Hope this helps!
Maddie and Ava it’d be perfect for cutting the bottom washi but one would need to be a little gentler to do the simply gilded washi :)
ArielRenee21 when I do my planner stuff I use the exacto knife and I love it cause it's so easy

and I get the stuff about the Slice tool....mine doesn't seem to cut through anything anymore either....though mine tends to fall a lot
I really wasn't a fan of the colors in this kit when it first came out but your spread came out so cute!

If you move into an apartment you HAVE to expect to hear your neighbors, it’s apartment living and your down neighbor should know this! Lol when I first moved in I told my down neighbor if we’re ever being too noisy just let us know and he’s never complained. I’ve heard my neighbors COUGH! Haha

Why don't you put your glitter headers and bottom row boxes down FIRST and then put down your bottom washi? That way you won't put your bottom washi too low ;) Or you could just but your bottom row boxes on the actual bottom line, add the glitter header and white out the dots.
I'm not a huge Jurassic Park fan either but this kit is cute! :)

Im so over the simply gilded washi, Kristen if you are going to be cutting washi invest in a paper cutter, you are not great at using that slice tool and I’m tired of you butchering washi every week
