- ► Hello everyone and nice to see you back today. Someone collects regular people who are celebrity lookalikes and they're so good, they will make you look twice. Being a twin himself, Freddy Slivinski, who lives in Israel, was always fascinated by human genetics. When he was a child, he often played a game with his twin where they tried to find ordinary people who looked just like celebrities. One day, he setup an Instagram page, dedicated to collecting his findings and some doubles are so good, you will have difficulty telling them apart. In addition to that, there is a little history added to each one of them, where they tell us what it's like, being a celebrity lookalike. I have selected for you today, some of the best examples. When I was in high school I was told I looked like John Taylor from Duran Duran. When I hit college it was Jim Carrey. In my 30s it was Elton John. Now I'm Dwight from The Office. In about 10 years I'll be Fozzie Bear from the Muppets.

I agree, and would add that the Jennifer Aniston comparison was a bit of a stretch, but the Angelina Jolie look a like was better than the real thing because no fake tan.

A few years ago, my mother hired a contractor to install a privacy fence around her new house. Two guys were working in the back when I arrived from work and stopped by her place, as usual. We lived close by. When I went to see how the work was coming along, I was completely floored by the sight of one of the men. He was the doppelgänger of Tom Selleck! Everything about him: the eyes, mustache, and even the smile. We talked and he told me that he gets mistaken for the actor everywhere he goes. He even went to a Las Vegas show with his wife and he was suddenly the center of attention and was invited to go on the stage for everyone to see. He was a really nice guy and didn’t let his ego get the best of him, but he did like to have fun and fool people, just for laughs. Lucky wife.

Oh, this reminds me...in the mid-80s, I went to see a new OB/GYN after a move to a different city. To my delight, she had life-size posters of Tom Selleck on the CEILINGS of her exam rooms, right over the exam tables! She laughed when I commented on it, saying that she thought it would be nice to give her patients a fun distraction. It would've been even better if Mr. Selleck could be in the delivery room with me, though! Or his impersonator, for that matter...🤰❤ 😄

20 years ago I was vacationing in Charleston, South Carolina and met a Bruce Willis look-alike working at the hotel I was staying at. I got up my courage to ask him if anyone ever told him that he look like Bruce Willis? I shall never forget his answer..."You are the first one today" :-)
When I was 14, the show The Love Boat was really big, and a friend’s Dad looked exactly like the actor that played the captain of the boat. He signed autographs even lol

Wouldn’t it be cool to see the parents of each set of look-a-likes to see if THEY look similar??? 😳 I worked in a cafe once and a local college instructor came in regularly that looked so like a thirty-something Stephen King. After several visits I finally asked him if anyone had ever told him he had an amazing resemblance to...and he interrupted and said, “Stephen King?” Crrreeeppy!

These were pretty good. The Angelina Jolie lookalike is beautiful. Bruce Willis and Keanu Reeves lookalike had me floored. ..Wow,

I think most of all of them looked spot on. The TuPac Shakur was a stretch. Drake imposter looked younger and thinner. I guess he would be the early years. 😆

The George Clooney look-a-like is better looking.
In her younger days my sister bore a striking resemblance to Princess Diana. Especially with the hairstyle she had at the time. People would often do double takes in airports. Years later we saw a guy at Fair Park in Dallas who looked almost identical to her husband. We kept staring at the guy in amazement. We secretly snapped a picture of the man and sent it to my brother-in-law. He was amazed at the resemblance too!

The impersonators will try to make the best out of their celebrity's images and are happy to be recognized than the originals whose images are likely to cover up.
What if someone looks like the person people most dislike? Adolf Hitler, etc.
When I was in school people told me that I looked like another girl there, but I never saw her. I think its because we didn't look a like, most people see the same type of person and think: "Yep they are twins." While we maybe had only the same jacket and haircut. But to have same face features is really rare and people don't pay so much attention to that.

Most of them really do resemble the celeb. That said, wearing the same type makeup, dressing the same, wearing the hair the same, those things don't make you look the same.
So close that even telling people that they weren't them would not work. They wouldn't believe them.

A few yes, but most were deliberately dressed up as the celebrity and or their face was covered in dark glasses. You need a lot more photos of the lookalikes to prove it and natural photos too - - not dressed up etc
1:59 Funny, I thought the Bruce Willis pictures were switched at first, because the one to the left, that is supposed to be the look-a-like looks like Bruce Willis, while the one on the right, that is supposed to be the real Bruce Willis, looks like a look-a-like.

I was even mistaken for her in several casinos at a time when I would go out at night with my friends and we would go listen to music , just you know go dancing and what not and I was asked for my autograph, I can't tell you how many times......I'm now 66 years young and still get told every so often..." You remind me of someone, an actress when she was younger ..." lol.

I deliberately chose not to mark them as it is true, sometime it's hard to tell them apart...

The lookalikes are ALL spot on! Like I saw in another comment, in most cases they are a shade of improvement upon the original!
I worked in a hospital and people used to always stop me and tell me I looked like Barbara Eden from I Dream of Jeannie. I never thought I did so it was bizarre to me.

When I was at school I was told I looked like a young Elvis.I got followed and stopped once by 2 American girls asking if I was Micheal Stipe from R.E.M..I’ve also been told I look just like Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit.I’ve had that one a fair few times. I’ve been told recently I look like Benjamin Keough (Priscilla Presley’s grandson who died) so it’s kind of come full circle.😂
That is not a Shakira look-a-like/double. That is a Shakira clone. Some of the doubles are a hit (Amy Winehouse, Jason Statham, Megan Markle) and some are not (George Clooney, Emilia Clarke).
