Roy Wright flies with his brother in the very competitive Dunscroft Social & Broadway Hotel Flying Clubs.
They have been highest prize winners in the clubs for the last 11 years, also breaking the Doncaster Federation Averages. Since 1992 the team have won in excess of 135 x 1sts, 115 x 2nds, 120 x 3rds and 120 x 4ths in first class competitive racing.

why do they keep the birds in the dark? could you explain how it works please , cheers!
stephen ward the best way to explain it is that the reason why the have them on the darkness system is to make the pigeons hold there flights so they can fly the bigger racers if they didn't have them on the darkness system they would be dropping flights

Why cant you just sell or give the pigeons to children? That way good birds wont be killed and kids can enjoy the hobby
Try finding kids nowadays that are interested in them 😂 it's all computers nowadays I'm the last racer in my area no club anymore I have to do olr racing instead
