Spencer kept giving him chance after chance. He basically killed himself, it wasn't Spencer's fault. By the end, Spencer was truly just acting on instinct. If he wasn't so close to the side of the ship he would have landed on the deck.

I did not feel bad for the ex-boyfriend, he had it coming. Spencer reminds me so much of Kayce I’m actually starting to believe he is Kayce’s great/grandfather, which he may or may not be until it’s confirmed in S2.
The ex-boyfriend was boring and didn't have what it took to keep Alex happy.

Yellowstone is coming back in November of 2024 and 1923 we still don't have a date yet. Harrison Ford was busy filming the new Captain America movie, the production can start soon if there are no more scheduling issues with the actors.

As entertaining some of Spencer‘s moments are it’s kind of jarring that a show about the old west switches back-and-forth between the old west and a totally different continent.
Why is that jarring?? I love seeing Spencer in Africa and around the world on his way home!!
Honestly for me this show was about Spencer and Alex first and everything else was just a side plot.
That’s why its called an “Origin” story .. to see how he became.. who he will become

Makes it ten times more exciting and interesting than having the whole show in one place in Montana!! That's what epic stories are all about, rarely do they take place on one plot of land or place!
What I like more in the 1923 comparing to the modern version is that there is family love and not constant toxicity

I would recommend watching it by when it was aired. I got much more out of 1883 having watched Yellowstone first.

Like the show but not impressed with the "mid" season Split so they get 40 for the DVD set instead of 20.
Along with the "actor's" strike, some get 25 50 100 thousand dollar 💰💰 per episode.

I wish taylor wasnt in charge he sucks! He makes great shows then ends them like SH*T 1883 way too short could have easily done 5+ seasons, 1923 great story yet we cant even get a completed season!!! 1883 was always planned as to a 10hr "movie" as they called it. They told the story they wanted to tell and then it ended.
He never meant 1883 to go on more than it did.
