Firstly, Mia Goth was so great in this movie, i can't believe she was snubbed at the Oscars. Completely worthy of a Best Actress nomination in my opinion. Secondly, thanks so much for the movie suggestions! I've not seen any of these so they're all perfect! I've heard great things about In Bruges and Three Billboards. Just recorded The Ring, but these are definitely on the list now.

That's the way familial hierarchy used to be. When they only had one tub of water dad got to use it first. Then the eldest son if there was one. The youngest child was bathed last. That's where the expression "Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater" came from. The bath water was so dirty by that point that you had to make sure you didn't throw your baby out as you were dumping the tub.
I watched Pearl before X, as well 😂 (I mean, technically, I watched reactions in order. Love a spoiler 😂) also, the actress playing Mitsy said she had interpreted it as she didn't get the part. Pearl just wouldn't accept that answer because she had convinced herself she got it.

Actually, they would go to the trouble of making look like a full-on human. It was great to keep crows, mammals, and other people away. The more realistic, the better. You have to remember that Crows are smart, so a plain Scarecrow wouldn't do it.

Open a decent dictionary, next to the word it will have the pronunciation in brackets. It’s standard English practice. Eg If you write a speech for someone else and just email it or post it. If there’s words they don’t know they could mispronounce them. Like “subtle” “pterodactyl” “psoriasis” they might not know certain letters are silent. Phonetics are imported and useful. Your comment is about somebody mispronouncing a word but reading your comment gives me no clear indication of what you mean. You write the way your speak, that’s good! But remember we can’t hear you.
