The best thing to do I have found when braiding is never use all one color. Even if u want it all the same color, have slight variations makes the style so dynamic and really pop! The two different colors here really worked!

This took me about 12 hours! Separating the hair takes up so much time

So cute! I wonder if you could do a youtube short of giving yourself box braid bangs in a half up have down? It's my favorite and I think your take on it would look so cute! I just cross about 4-6 box braids at the nape of the neck into a headband coming up behind my ear, twirl it to the underneath so the unicorn ponytail lays facing frontwards before you cut the likely already bangs or a bit longer, then I take 4 braids from the front on both the left and right, ignore the centermost 2, and pull the 3 from left and right side into a low hidden pony at the bottom back by itself, then I pull 3 braids by the ear under the hidden ponytail on both sides, with two braids in front of the ear and 1 behind, and lastly I put the hair into a half up half down, adding the two centermost front pieces to the ponytail last for draping effect, and add a claw clip. It sounds so complicated but ends up looking like your braids are naturally draping out of the half up half down with wispy ear pieces and is sooooo cute :D
