Matflex are NOT boxing shoes. They are wrestling. Boxing need to have a flat sole and not so much grip, the foot must be able to move more freely.

I have these exact same Asics. Love 'em! I do MMA and wear my wrestling shoes in boxing class. After boxing, I immediately go to wrestling class with the same shoes on. Convenient!

Boxing shoes have little grip and are pretty heavy honestly, a gym mate got these and I was amazed at how light they were just holding them, excited to get a pair. Thanks for the vid and the tip for getting the right size cause my local store doesn't have any in stock so I gotta order them.

Tip: take out the laces first, put your foot in, then lace it up
