Greed is trained by Reinhart in every martial art. He is more than likely stronger physically. The only thing pride Subaru was better at is manipulation.😊

Having all the knowledge of Echidna, he can develop the Subaru door in the best way and specialize in all kinds of magic. he also has 600 thousand years of experience. and he remembers every moment. he can remember all 100 million deaths and keep his mind. At this point, it's far beyond Touma mentally (Touma says that his own brain can only handle 10 thousand deaths and forgets about other deaths) at this point, we can say that the Greedbaru is the most powerful subaru variant.

If im correct, didnt Echidna use her tea to stabalize the Sloth Witch Factor inside of him so he would be able to use it? He might have all of the witch factors, but if he cant use them, then its not much use. Also it wasnt brought up in the Pride-IF that he had access to the unseen hand (cor leonis wasnt a things when this story came out), so id think its fair to assume he cant use them. But i still agree that PrideBaru would be the strongest. He has access to the fire spirit, and has a ton of combat experience and IQ/BIQ. Greed would be a close second, because he has Echidna to help him, and combat training from Reinhardt to help him fight. But id say his BIQ would be worse, because while PrideBara has to rely on his own resourcefulness, GreedBaru probably just relies on Echidna for everything. And third place would be EnvyBaru, because Cor-Leonis, Unseen Hand, Contract with Beako, EMT, EMF, EMA are all super busted spells, and Al-Shamak is literally the Subaru-Counter spell. It doesnt kill you, it just teleports you to another realm of existence where your mind is in a state of confusion.

Unless theres some really basic thing im missing, Gluttony i would place 4th strongest. I would exclude companions, however people he has contracts too i would include, because he gets abilities from them, so its fair to say that those are tied to his abilities. With Greed being the second strongest, i would chalk it up to Echidnas knowledge, Reinhardts training, and Subaru's willingness to use RBD for *any* reason. I assume we both agree echidnas knowledge is a great benefit, so the one i would talk about is Reinhardts Training: Reinhardt is still willing to train people, in the Greed IF, he is training Garfiel to be a stronger fighter. Also he has a Divine Protection that speeds up the training process, i would tbink its fair to assume that GreedSubaru has had Reinhardt train him too because he would need to be strong yo be able to protect Emilia. The three alley thugs from episode 1 that subaru beat are all stronger than Subaru now thanks to Reinhardts training, and they have only had 1 year worth if training. Subaru would have had close to 7,000 years worth of training, and even if he didnt train every single day, i would say he could still have a couple hundred years worth at minimum. And lastly, his willingness to die and abuse RBD is the strongest feat he has. After 10,000 deaths, PrideBaru had to give up on killing Reinhardt and try to metephorically kill him instead (which is a testiment to his IQ/BIQ), but GreedBaru wouldnt give up, he would just let himself be killed an infinite amount of times because "So long as there is life, there is hope. So long as there is hope, there is a chance. So long as there is a chance, there is a future." And in those infinite lives he would be willing to sacrifice, Echidna is there with him, able to adapt her strategies to help him win. (I'll be honest the more i break down GreedBaru, the more i think he might be the strongest with just raw tenacity :P ) And yeah, Envy is the main route.

Aganau IF Subaru should’ve been number 1. He’s physically the strongest Subaru out of all of them and probably would easily kill his other versions. He also has two weapons, his prosthetic arm which has a huge blade that penetrates through people and then his sword

it should also be added that this sword is not a normal sword. The sword of life. the soul of someone killed with that sword is permanently destroyed. it cancels all kinds of resurrections. The author says that if he is killed with that sword, even Reinhard will not be able to come back. the only exception is Subaru, I think. he killed himself with this sword and came back as if nothing had happened. Subaru's can come back even when their souls are destroyed.

Subaru literally let Emilia die and Rem let Ram die for it. They are both incomplete and try to cope using their kid. Afaik Subaru has nightmares about Emilia every night and actively regrets letting her die in Sloth IF.

No I believe it's because he never contacted any witches (specifically echidna) so he couldn't activate the authorities. Plus he didn't kill them himself so the witch factor didn't choose him. Tappei the author said he didn't have any authorities in the Pride IF route so that's my best guess. And he never got the pride authority because he only self proclaimed himself.

These are what if stories based on critical decisions. For example what if Subaru decided to run away with Rem, or if he accepted the deal with echidna. So unless they decide to adapt these into movies or create a spin off show for it, it won't be adapted.

Basically, these routes happened when subaru made a different decision compared to the main timeline and goes on a totally different path of his life. For eg: What if subaru didn't cry for Reinhardt in s1, in the alleyway of those 3 thugs? He would become a psychopath who massacres millions of lives and literally burns down an entire continent. These stories are official by the author himself and are always hinted in the main story like some easter egg
There are 7 routes of re zero which are just the 7 sins 1. Pride IF - what if he was too prideful and never called for help in 2nd ep and tried defeat three thugs and Elsa all by himself ( he died thousands of times and went insane) 2. Sloth IF - what if he ran away with Rem 3. Wrath IF - what if he didn't forgive Ram and Rem back at the mansion when he jumped off the cliff. He became a super villain 4. Greed IF - what if he accepted Echidna's contract... he died millions of times but everything was in his control. Emilia became 100% reliant on Subaru, she had short hair and couldn't even stand straight without holding his hand ( she permanantly became the yandere Emilia we saw) 5. Lust IF - this was made as a joke by the author... He married all 5 royal candidates plus Rem and Petra... 6. Gluttony IF- most fucked up...too spoilery 7. technically, yes. they are alternate universes written by the author. every April, the author publishes a chapter from these "IF" stories. Everything is the same except for one decision that Subaru made. and this shows us the other aspects of Subaru, how powerful and dangerous it is when vw does not suppress itself. i think you should read it. They're like WN episodes. each of them is an independent alternative timeline. if you have finished the second season, you can read the stories of "Pride, Wrath, sloth and Greed" without spoiler problems.
They're alternate timelines that's almost identical but with Subaru making some different choice leading him to get stronger but in turn, turning him evil. I think the only version of Subaru that wasnt really evil was the one from the "laziness if". Remember the part in the anime where Subaru reject rems confession ? In this timeline Subaru accepts her confession and they run away together, get married and have kids.

Physically, Aganau Subaru is the strongest. This is the only route where he can sole multiple witchcultist. Greed Subaru is probably his most powerful version. Here he has the most intelligent character in Rezero, Echidna, lending him her wisdom, and also has Reinhard as his pawn.
Main route is physically the strongest due to arc 8 upscaling. Also these are flat comparisons so while greed would get echidna (due to her being contracted), he wouldn’t get Reinhard. Same with pride and his fire spirit, and envy with Beatrice. Also people over scale greed if like crazy. When scaling greed if we take arcs 1-4 and than add echidnas scaling. While he would be first due to echidna, he’s not that smart himself. Without echidna envy Subaru takes the first spot in intelligence, and is physically the strongest, along with the strongest contracted spirit

@@Hamzah_ Hmm, Gluttony is strong because he knows pretty much everything, but he isn't the one who is doing the bulk of the work, its his companion who is strong, but im excluding companions (because then we would have to say Greed is the strongest with Reinhardt, and Wrath is the second strongest with Ceci and Hallibel). Unless theres some really basic thing im missing, Gluttony i would place 4th strongest.
I would exclude companions, however people he has contracts too i would include, because he gets abilities from them, so its fair to say that those are tied to his abilities.
With Greed being the second strongest, i would chalk it up to Echidnas knowledge, Reinhardts training, and Subaru's willingness to use RBD for *any* reason. I assume we both agree echidnas knowledge is a great benefit, so the one i would talk about is Reinhardts Training:
Reinhardt is still willing to train people, in the Greed IF, he is training Garfiel to be a stronger fighter. Also he has a Divine Protection that speeds up the training process, i would tbink its fair to assume that GreedSubaru has had Reinhardt train him too because he would need to be strong yo be able to protect Emilia. The three alley thugs from episode 1 that subaru beat are all stronger than Subaru now thanks to Reinhardts training, and they have only had 1 year worth if training. Subaru would have had close to 7,000 years worth of training, and even if he didnt train every single day, i would say he could still have a couple hundred years worth at minimum. And lastly, his willingness to die and abuse RBD is the strongest feat he has. After 10,000 deaths, PrideBaru had to give up on killing Reinhardt and try to metephorically kill him instead (which is a testiment to his IQ/BIQ), but GreedBaru wouldnt give up, he would just let himself be killed an infinite amount of times because "So long as there is life, there is hope. So long as there is hope, there is a chance. So long as there is a chance, there is a future." And in those infinite lives he would be willing to sacrifice, Echidna is there with him, able to adapt her strategies to help him win. (I'll be honest the more i break down GreedBaru, the more i think he might be the strongest with just raw tenacity :P )
And yeah, Envy is the main route.

Subaru's can come back even when their souls are destroyed.

No I believe it's because he never contacted any witches (specifically echidna) so he couldn't activate the authorities. Plus he didn't kill them himself so the witch factor didn't choose him. Tappei the author said he didn't have any authorities in the Pride IF route so that's my best guess. And he never got the pride authority because he only self proclaimed himself.

Everything is the same except for one decision that Subaru made. and this shows us the other aspects of Subaru, how powerful and dangerous it is when vw does not suppress itself. i think you should read it. They're like WN episodes. each of them is an independent alternative timeline. if you have finished the second season, you can read the stories of "Pride, Wrath, sloth and Greed" without spoiler problems.

Physically, Aganau Subaru is the strongest. This is the only route where he can sole multiple witchcultist.
Greed Subaru is probably his most powerful version. Here he has the most intelligent character in Rezero, Echidna, lending him her wisdom, and also has Reinhard as his pawn.
Main route is physically the strongest due to arc 8 upscaling. Also these are flat comparisons so while greed would get echidna (due to her being contracted), he wouldn’t get Reinhard. Same with pride and his fire spirit, and envy with Beatrice. Also people over scale greed if like crazy. When scaling greed if we take arcs 1-4 and than add echidnas scaling. While he would be first due to echidna, he’s not that smart himself. Without echidna envy Subaru takes the first spot in intelligence, and is physically the strongest, along with the strongest contracted spirit

Basically roswall made Lye go into hiding so Subaru is forced to get the dragon blood. So in terms of power and influence Greed is still stronger except pride has better magic affinity since he burned luginica with his own magic
