Not sure why I’m commenting here, but here goes; my wife, my two best friends in the world and I love Venice. We’ve seen them half a dozen times live, and love to play their stuff in the background at gatherings. I lost both my father and my wife last week. The plan right now is that my amazing and talented daughter will sing this song acoustic at her mom’s graveside service next week. I’ve held things together pretty well up until now. But playing this song tonight made me break my hold. Just a little, but enough to make me realize how amazing my wife was, and how much I pray that we can be together elsewhere. She was amazing, loving and kind. I hope that she is in a better place. Thank you, Venice, for all of your music, and especially this song. It is a blessing.

And there is so much going on in the world right now, we need to be looking for the positives. I hope all is well in your world. 😊

This song is so beautiful. Yet it pains me, deeply. My significant other has been gone for nearly 19 years, my son for 14. Some family trees do NOT always grow. The song/harmony is gorgeous. Unfortunately for some of us, the message is unattainable. SO - EMBRACE YOUR FAMILY. Having them is precious.

I sing this song as a soloist and choir with me. and 1,5 years ago at my father's funeral. very special to do. but also emotional. what my biggest wish is to sing it with @nick and Simon. 2 Dutch singers.
How can there be any dislikes to this wonderful song? I and my brothers have played & sang this song at a few memorial services and it has always been received well because it says it all......that is if you have family and feelings. Thank you Venice for this superlative dedication song that we all needed.

But before I could move to his area (the reason for the reconnect), he had a motorcycle accident and died. God said "no" to our reunion, but I will always have this song to remember our final six months. Thank you!
The boys graciously dedicated this song to me and my family, when we were in time of need for comfort and support. Dad sister Sharon Mom passed within 5 weeks. Plus we were losing our oldest son to drug addictions , our middle to alcohol, and lost our home, job, family and friends. It’s not easy but our family tree grows. Venice always reminds us❤🥰
