I loved this mod, the OG Trilogy really is something special. I wish there were more, complete mods like this.
The inclusion of these new areas and FMV scenes are absolutely unbelievable. The way these areas fit with the original map, I'm blown away. The first part felt like just another mod but when the new areas came, I was blown away.

I'm loving these videos. This is my favourite episode so far, it's beautiful, it adds so much to the existing RE1 map and fits in really well.
My favourite thing about this episode is that almost all the areas are quite well lit, but can still provide some excellent scares and tension/apprehension.
At the tower, you're lulled into a false sense of security after meeting up with Trent, only for the fucking spider to land out of nowhere in a relatively small room, the last time I saw that done was with Chris in the DS mode for Resident Evil Deadly Silence for the Nintendo DS where you go to get the elevator battery after defeating Yawn for the second time!
But the scares aren't just jumpscares, there's panic and tension with seeing Ghost on "Danger" level health and he's having to walk past the sleeping Cerberus and that just one hit will kill him. This is so much better than the last episode where a large chunk of the mansion was in pitch blackness - which didn't allow for a better build up of the atmosphere and fear - whereas this episode is so much better for not being like this.
I also have to give props to bringing back the Ivys from RE2 and - what I suspect to be - the Ticks from the Saturn version of RE1 towards the end.
Finally, the part where you go to combine the flamethrower fuel with the flamethrower and you end up with LESS fuel for the flamethrower was fucking hilarious!!

Trent like Trent from the SD Perry Resident Evil books? If so that's a really cool inclusion.
The movement of characters in games is always interesting. There is the movement of the character itself, from point A to point B, and then there is the attempt to explain or describe it by the form of motion of the body which often phases out from that particularly in older games. Whereas in reality, movement of a person is more in sync, with a single world wide standard of gravity versus muscles tendons and bones for everyone. The physics in games varies by platform and from one to the next. Games like resident evil are unique in that they have both male and female characters which poses additional challenges as their mannerisms and expressions are often very similar in games. And there is such an interest in iconography in games that by now there should be a lot of interest in making that distinction. Your typical girl, well, throws a ball like a girl. But she is unmistakably feminine.

Jolly good mod, excellent work! Beautifully crafted reimagination of the events related to the original game 👍
One question though. Regarding the cavern sequence (32:33 onwards), what are those hostile creatures? One could imagine they are accidental or experimental byproducts of the extensive T-virus program and testing, but have you conceived any backstory for them? Are they hybrid between human and some other species, such as Chimeras in the original 1996 game? Anyway, bloody good show!
I consider this to be canon.

Your well assured on episode 3, the interior where there are plants and other is incredible, to believe that nature has taken back its rights, even if it is infected by the virus XD
The jumpscares when you pass from another camera are cool, especially the corpse above which is hung by the plants, those who did that are great! 🤩
Besides, for the end, I would have thought who would have a lot of enemies, given the ammunition you had, but hey.
Hunk will want to kill our protagonist and his sister......wonder if they will manage to escape. 🤔

Those mods are incredible. The new rooms, the cutscenes, the way it connects with the Revisited mod... The only complaint I have is that it breaks the canon. For example already existing rooms that are repurposed (The room with knights statues in the Mansion replaced by a big oven, the cave that collapses, the library and the books gone in the room where the entrance to the lab is located, the sharks that destroys the aquarium and floods the basement when it's known from a document in the original Resident Evil that it was a scientist who went mad that flooded the place, etc..). I believe these changes were unnecessary and takes away from the enjoyment knowing it cannot work in canon, but it still is a testament to how talented some modders are and is a great standalone experience.
To be fair, not even RE can keep their canon correctly lmao! But yes, would've been a tad cooler to at least study Director's Cut's canon to a T to make sure everything fit.

The shark area seems very sus, not one bite then the last room in the mine, is that glitch as you were not attacked once or is a time thing?

The creator Aydan does not allow any glitches or debugging features in the game, and has encrypted all the files, so that no one can get access to it. All you've seen was just a pure playthrough with no cheating. I got some damage on the first run tho! But I learn quick :)

literally got to end and game crashed? is there a bug regarding using the item menu as when I went to switch weapons it freezes in the mines. Generally cannot be arsed to complete thos episode not due to the difficulty and bugs
@Seany C The game freezes in mines? I opened the item menu and switched the handgun to shotgun several times but the game didn't crash.
@Kendozone 켄도 it was frustrating, I opened the menu to switch guns and it froze, you could still access menus and the music still plays but no characters can move they all freeze. only in the mines. O have seem this happen with other youtubers in mines too. it just got frustrating as I was enjoying it more as I got to progress. I ended up watching the end on CZcams. I was just 1 door away 😭😭 my luck is as good as Joseph! in the woods 🤣
@Seany C Man that sounds really frustrating. Maybe you should contact the creator and report about this critical bug.
