What a legacy Dolores and The Cranberries left ! Her death shocked and truly saddened me. It was months before I was to attend my first Cranberries concert in Barcelona. Miss her.
RIP Delores. I am so sad I was never able to witness such a live performance in my life. Would have been almost spiritual to be there.
I saw them on this tour when they played Manchester in 99. And Dolores gave me her plectrum after she finished playing Zombie. Sadly due to the passage of time I’ve lost it. But I still remember that amazing gig.

1993-1996 was peak Dolores. Especially in '95 the concerts were so good!! Check out the Munich 1994 video of Linger (well the whole show was slick)... it's really strong, not as breathy as later on. ❤ I found her a bit flat during the verses in 1999-2005 with some particular songs... you can hear it here also.
Fun fact: Dolores was asked to do the vocals for the Titanic soundtrack (Norwegian singer Sissel ended up doing them). The Cranberries cancelled their tour in late 96 because they were exhausted, so Dolores didn't do it sadly.
One of the most powerful songs of recent times. I don't know my falsetto from my elbow. But I do know a great voice when I hear one.

This was my favourite song as a little kid. I was enamoured with the music video. It sounds like a hard one to do live but she did a pretty great job!

In Ireland musical styles are crossed all the time when you’re growing up and singing. There’s a tradition called Sean-nós which has the same inflection that Sinead, Dolores, and multiple Irish singers have not just of that generation even till today

This song was actually voted irelands favourite Irish song.
Dolores wrote it during the troubles between Ireland and England when the IRA planted a bomb that killed two children.
Dolores O'riordan was a little indoctrinated singer but unique and unrepeatable in everything she did as a singer, interpreter and woman. His voice was full of various forms of his own vocal techniques and others such as keening adapted to his musical style taken from his Irish ancestors who used keening or lamentation to sing at funerals in Ireland. Dolores will forever be remembered as an incomparable woman in every way.

Oh Dolores...What a shame she went so soon. That gravel will forever be a part of my childhood. I don't think she gets the recognition she deserves in Ireland. Maybe In Limerick? I loved Sinead O'Connor, but jesus when Dolores died did she get the same send off? AND she had more hits than Sinead. I'm not crapping on Sinead, Christ knows I adored her music. BUT I think Dolores, and the band, deserve a hell of a lot more recognition. They had Zombie, Linger, Dreams, Ode to my Family, Just my Imagination? I'm not even that big a fan of The Cranberries. I just know her from my childhood, more so than Sinead. 1993 baby here. If I'm wrong please correct me, but I HONESTLY don't think Dolores got the send off she deserved.

That is a despicable thing to say about Dolores may have committed suicide.. Please do your research and due diligence before making such a comment. She has children who may read such things. The fact that you are a huge fan makes your comment so much worse.

This video of the concert of The Cranberries in Paris was the first video of a concert that I saw in my life, I was very little. My mom loves The Cranberries and always listens to their songs and I am also a fan of the band!! Also this is my mom's favorite song, so it's very special!!! Dolores' voice is amazing and unique!!
