this was the most helpful mini class on Wheels in all of CZcams. Excellent.
Where was this video 3 years ago when i started longboarding, i spent hours of reading silverfish forums and online specs (x
+NADS IQ video is easier, i learned plenty
This was posted 3 years ago... Weird...
NADS IQ No it means you’re the moron here. He didn’t say he learned nothing from reading the forum, he just pointed out his opinion that he wished he had this video available back then. How’s your understanding of simple deduction working out for you?
Josh you do realize his comment was from 4 years earlier than yours?
Great video, lots of good information on wheels in general. I love the oldschool advertising style you gave to the video, it felt like watching an old Timex commercial from the 50's ;)
That's some old school advertising right there, loved it
Love the Pink Floyd pic lol
Awesome video, you teach all the wheels caracteristics while showing some good footage and some humor! Great job!
This video is great, companies that don't take themselves so seriously like this make me happy. I wasn't sold to, and just bought some 70mm 86a wheels. I too shall laugh at gravity, and the ER doctor.
We hope it's a mild chuckle over a humorous pun with the ER doctor on an unofficial visit...
@@LoadedBoards I asked them to put my stitches in while counting like the vampire from sesame street.
this is what i was looking for an long time, thanks for the vid.
Best wheel review, I think we need more of this from other skate brands
Very well put together, great video.
Thanks guys, I needed this!
best o tang vid ever
that video was funny and informative. Nice job!
This is so helpful!
Great explanation!
This vid sold me on buying some Orangatangs. Cheers

Thanks! We need to start working on an update!
got some orangatang 85mm earlier today they are fire
Pretty Nice!
Amazing Video.
Very helpful :)
Wow wish I found this a couple months ago this was the film I was looking for
Did you have issues getting the back sprocket on enough so you could put the rear nut on? There’s very little room enough for the back nut to screw on all the way, even though it looks like I have the drive sprocket on all the way?? Any suggestions? Please help! Thank you!! Lou
I'm looking for a soft, squishy 60mm with a square edge. Not sure on duro because one companies 83a is another's 78a. I don't plan on doing slides yet and the super squishy wheels flick rocks out of the way or go over them. Currently using Alva 60mm 83a translucent cruiser wheels but I always keep my eyes open (but have an empty wallet). The ground here is textured (because of the winters here).
Dude that laugh just kept going lmfaoooooo gave me the willies
I have a question, i just made a drop through deck with 7 plies of 3mm baltic berch plywood. I want to use it to go to school (5 km from my house) maybe go down some hills (i will not be going faster then 25 km/h max) or just go to the store.
I was thinking of 4 prez or kegel (80A) but which one do you think i should choose?
4 Prez
so i am just a recreational longboard commuter , i occasionally like to do some pumping and carving, and my sidewalks are not too shabby, but not perfect either.. im looking at the kegel for a "roll over anything" ride... is it good for that ?
are they plushy as the otang durians ? im currently running that on a paris 180 loaded vanguard
Thanks so much!
DEFINITELY, if you buy bigger wheels around 75-90 youre board will become a tank to almost anything placed on the ground, i have 72mm sharkwheels and they also get the job done
Will Orangatang make yellow 86a Kegels? If they do, when will they release it?
NuttyCheerios no bcs that will break the wheels bcs sliding with these wheels aren't the meaning of the wheels
you guys are the best hahaha
Still wondering what Wheels are best for Pumping my TanTien.
Hi, The place where i live have tiny pot holes and rough road are the Kegel In Heat 80mm 80a good? Will handle the road? I just wanna cruise?
Kegel in heat.. Lol. Kegels and In Heats are 2 different wheels. But yes!
I have a pintail 40 by original. I know nothing about wheels or trucks. I like cruising and I'm trying to learn to carve. I'm also teaching myself to do things like pivots, shoveits, and the tiger claw. What wheel and touch setup would be best for me? Should I do that stuff on a pintail? I'm pretty new at all this so any suggestions would help.
A better board is the loaded tan tien, loaded dervish sama and te original apex 40 double concave/apex 40 diamond drop. You can use orangatang fat free 83a or orangatang stimulus 80a. For trucks I suggest paris 180mm. :)
So tired of the god damn rain. I wanna ride
Matthew soooooo agree
I heard these were really chalky
wish i had that vid when i started boarding
Those purple wheels against the blue background made them look almost dark red, and that gave me an idea, you guys could create maybe an 88a durometer and make them dark red?
Hmmmm 🤔 maybe... just. meh, behh...
2:39 BOTH!!!!
Well now I gotta save my money
If I slide my In Heats don't I just turn a grippy wheel into a slidey one? The edge breaks down like after 3 slides. Do downhill racers change wheels after every run to keep traction up?
Yes. Once you break through the skin of a grippy wheel, you get to the much slidier meat of the wheel. However, this slide has much more resistance than a freeride wheel because of the protruding outer lip and it's relatively sharp angle. Downhill racers change their wheels every single heat in order to maintain their optimum level of grip for cornering.
LoadedNewsletter reading this in the narrators voice
LoadedNewsletter I guess this is what is meant by: "Oh sheeeeyut, my wheels are scrubbed" as in "I can no longer corner properly and will now lose this heat".
Dig the 60s vibe.
very informational video! i really want a pair of these wheels now. I ride a penny nickel board and im using remember pee wee wheels to slide and i think its pretty tough since im new and the wheels are pretty narrow. I want a more wide wheel but not too big that i get wheel bite. I like to cruise and take 20-40mph hills. What would be a good wheel for me?
Feel free to comment!
If you want to slide on your Penny, the 65mm Fat Free or 66mm Keanu wheels might be good matches (in size and shape) for your setup. 70mm Stimulus or 69mm Kilmers could also work if you like a larger wheel; just make sure to check for wheelbite and adjust your setup accordingly.
You don't take 40mph hills on a Penny.
I would strongly recommend getting a full set of wheels as opposed to just a pair. Riding with only 2 wheels is a much harder way to learn!
You go 40mph ON A Penny?!
ThePuncakeMan thats not all he goes 40mph on.. ;)
Who narrated this grand creation? Adam S?
Whatyagot for quadskates?
I rollerskate man I cant find the kind Im lookin for diameter width and duro
Do you know what size of spacers I need for four presidents .?
Gold
Should I replace my Shark Wheels with the Orangatang Kegel? I have been skating my Shark Wheels for about 8 months now.
If you want a fast wheel that rolls over almost all debris, it might be worth a try!
will it get wheelbite if i use them on a drop through with sidewinders 2
If it's 70mm or under, probably not.
Also for guys who drive a Chubby Unicorn and know all of this, its a really good vid for beginners and also very very funny :D
Yep ! :)
1:23 is that Mirko?

kool
Kegel Exercise !!!!!!!!!!!
that first heelside was choice
are the 4pres purple good in downhill?
They're prefect for downhill! After they break in, they turn into exceptional freeride wheels as well!
thanks loaded :) love your products by the way i'm from from the philippines
Which is best for tricks ?
Fat Frees because they are light and small! Could also check out the newer Orangatang Skiffs!
LoadedNewsletter Thank you ! 😄
No problemo! Happy shredding!

nah
I broke the core of my orange Keanu's, anyone else had this problem?
What what the f×+k do i get
Well what are you trying to do specifically?
The safest bet is to go with 70mm wheels like the Orangatang 4President or Stimulus in Orange 80a. These wheels are designed to be the perfect all around ride, balancing grip, smoothness and slide feel!

The gain on your microphone is way too high

No, I’ve been skating since I was 16 but I’m still skating at 50 you should be OK if you’re in decent shape wear pads and helmet when you start…. It’s really fun to long board
