  • In this lesson I will show you how to conduct a one point track within Nuke. We will motion track a slider shot and I will demonstrate some of the ways in which you can troubleshoot a dodgy tracker.

    coming from AE (the last version before CC... actual discs) with its lousy tracking, nuke has been a revelation.
    I still use this cheap (& now discontinued :-( ) app store thing called 'elasty' for quick & dirty motion tracking; I'll use it to drop a couple of markers on the footage which AE can actually track most of the time, & then 'replace footage' with the clean copy when I've got the tracking data in AE.
    but using nuke- especially with your guidance- gets me there much faster.

      I love nuke for its tracking capabilities! Havent heard of Elasty but I'll have to have a quick look! Glad the video helps!
