Nakano Broadway is a popular commercial center located in Nakano in Tokyo. The design of the center is really old style and every shop looks like a garage which I personally love!
Nakano Broadway is specialised in anime related products. You can find here figures, posters, cards, books and so on. Most of the popular anime are represented but what makes Nakano Broadway unique is that it features a lot of old anime too. I'm think here about the old Godzilla movies, Dragon Ball, Arale, Saint Seya, Cowboy Bepop, Sailor Moon, Detective Conan...
As an anime fan, you probably know Akihabara ( • 🤖 [4K HDR] Night Walk ... ) but Nakano Broadway has a different vibe. Unlike Akihabara, everything is concentrated in one big commercial center in Nakano Broadway so you have the feeling that you are in another world! The prices are also a bit less expensive in Nakano Broadway.
If you want to visit this place, stop at Nakano station and just walk few minutes.

Holy sh. 18:02 shelves full of FMA Mustang x Hawkeye doujinshi. I hope they're still there when I visit this October 😭
OK I just visited this exact same shop last Oct 2023 (one of the Mandarake stores in the building) and only a quarter of these doujinshi remained. Still got some good ones but not as many as displayed here. And most of these were already sold out. Still bought them

I got to know this place from a game called digimon story cyber sleuth, I didn't know it a real place until I searched for it lol 😂 I thought it a made up place cuz u know I am not from Japan but it so cool it actually a real place and it looks eaxctly like in the game.

alot of shops closed down, used to be way more busy and crowded. Was kinda disappointed visiting it yesterday
