yep. i bought it a few years back and litteraly got 12 shinies in a day while i was just sitting at home. crazy odds
it not from pokemon in raids so gotta farm the wild spawns instead of focus on raids to get most from it

I also got the ticket, i got it off the online store along with a nice discount, paid about 2 thirds of the original price so not a bad deal. The passes are worth about half the price, marshadow is a nice bonus and im very happy with the shiny boost as im playing the whole weekend. Im not sure how the rates are going to be this time around but i caught about 40 odd shinies during last year's global so here's hoping they don't screw us
YES! You want that ticket. I remember last year, my friend working nights didn't buy the ticket. Within 15 mins being around me, she bought it...realizing how many shiny she was passing. In like 15 mins I had like 20 shiny, she saw zero....she didn't get the chances increase until the next day but she did see it. It will be staggering the chances increase.
I was gonna buy a pass for me and a friend but after that waste of a whole Saturday for nothing that they called flock together niantic can FLOCK OFF!

I am with you. I was expecting increased number of pokemon. Usually I would have to fast catch to get as many as possible. Was able to slow catch and many times there were few pokemon around.
Passing on go fest ticket this year. Only got rubbish 2* mythicals for previous years ticket

Dude I ordered the go-fest shirt and everything. I’m a huge mainline Pokemon fan and it ticks me off how Niantic treats our patience.
I have to say yes. Most ticketed events I've scored a decent amount of shinys. The Sinnoh Go tour was the worst one for me by far but I normally go weeks between random shiny encounters. If I walk out of go fest with 10 new to me shiny's I'm a happy guy. Plus the extra fun I had playing

I've had the ticket for awhile out of the raids I probably won't do a whole lot I'm looking forward to Necrozuma, Marshadow,Solagleo,and Lunala if the ultra unlock does end up being Solagleo and Lunala in raids I don't do enough raids to shiny hunt in them so if I can get at least a 3 star appraisal Solagle,Lunala, and Necrozuma I'll be happy but until we know for sure that the ultra unlock is Solagleo and Lunala raids I'll be happy with just getting a 3 star appraisal Necrozuma
Last year I got around 30+ shinies on both days. Felt the ticket was worth it compared to non ticket holders.

the ticket is global so no, u can play it from home. The global event lasts July 13-14 (saturday and sunday)

I had purchased the Go Fest Global ticket on the Webstore (to get the free shirt). However, I do not see the free shirt that came with buying the ticket on the webstore in my inventory. My friend bought it but got the free avatar item immediately. I tried to reach out to Niantic Support as well as Xolla but no luck since then. The ticket was bought April 29th but I still do not see the shirt in my Tops items. 😢😢😢. Has this happened to anyone yet or am I the first?

If you buy the ticket for global go fest yes you will eventually get the Marshadow master work research but the downside is that the global go fest masterwork special research for Marshadow is going to take longer to complete then the in person go fest masterwork special research for Marshadow that's how it's always been as long as I've played and I started playing in March of 2021 but the the ticket won't be activated until the start of global go fest where you live

To get anything to change a sizable number of players would need to delete the game but it’s just not happening. People are addicted to the game and there are 10s of millions of players around the globe. Even 20 thousand players decreasing spending isn’t going to send the message.

Niantic are even ashamed of the update they used old art to promote the Go Fest avatar items. Who said millions won't stop spending over this update? Majority of the player base HATE IT. So many companies have gone BROKE after doing updates like this.

I'm thinking no on the pass because the game has been running so poorly. The last day to purchase the ticket with the first free shirt and quest I tried playing the game and experienced the worst lag and crashes ever. All the updates are nice and fun but the game is becoming unplayable so definitely not spending money on it.

Honestly, game now is just boring with the mid events, shadow raids aren't fun because their egg spawn are just horrible. The ticket i agree its worth it for gameplay though. But other than that, I know I wouldnt invest too much normally since it's totally not worth it now
so my dambass that put my fing soul and tears to build a solgaleo on rear candy's just to have an exclusive good ml pokemon to run spend all these rear candy's for know reason cause now any bozo can get it and farm candy's for it 10 times faster than me.AMAZING
