Peace to all my brothers across the globe who still listen to REAL music like this.
haha, what the fuck!
this is what the listeners of REAL music (i.e. 60s rock) HATE to the limit, without realizing, that their music is nothing but distortet electrified crap for the listeners of REAL real music (i.e. 30s/40s swing and bluegrass), while the listeners of classical music claim, that the whole "so called pop music" is nothing but "dross" - hey, buddy, see what i mean? which "real" music do you mean now?
be careful with that expression, especially written in caps, it reeks of chauvinism... :-(
let´s respect each other across the globe, even if someone just listens to music, which is merely a collage made of little splinters cut out of other music pieces, ok? there are as much ways to make and enjoy music as there are humans...
btw. this is a nice mix here, nuff enjoyment... :-)
one love and best wishes...
@@friesiamans1966 ayy, exactly :-)
@@mephtec thanx for saying this... :-)
@Noble Savage appreciated, and be it the wind in the leaves of a tree or the waves splashing on the rocks, haha... :-)
This is Boom Bap, Original Rap...
That's a long train.
orient express!
Whoa
It's the last train stop in 'Dark City'
Dude ... Deep!
And it dont stop!
"beats to study" instead of "beats to study to" 👍
study bars, infinite rhymes, study rythms thru conscious hearing
solo tu estudias a mi me da por hacer rapeos bien locos
Perfect comment sir

Beats to which you can study***
As someone born and raised from Queens. I would ride the E train for 4 years to 50th Street to get to high school in Hell's Kitchen and downtown to my afterschool job in the original World Trade Center, 1986 to 1990. This is traveling music. In your headphones as you ride and make moves around the city, from Bk, Harlem and the Bx... lol, I was everywhere. As I got older, these type of musical impressions became my 'pushing-the-pedal' soundtrack for going up and down the FDR, the Westside Highway, onto all the city's many bridges into every boro and back on the LIE or Belt Parkway to head home. This sound is the core of my NYC existence, 😌 even as I graduated into neosoul and all sectors of jazz. For at that core is the young 16 year-old with door-knocker pyramid shaped earrings, a two-finger ring with my name engraved, a brown Gucci bookbag and red hightop Reeboks, with a Salt-n-Pepa asymmetrical haircut. 😏
Your life seems to be interesting.
Yup, your male counterpart here, Brooklyn born. Many late nights knocking around the city with my Walkman, then my MP3 player, then my cell phone. Always music like this enhancing the evening, lending color to the neighborhoods I walked/drove through.
very nice storytelling
I can relate to this at one point...its the music between the beginning and primetime...the middle.
and so it goes
Boss: Why are you late for work?
Me : There was a train with about 1830 cars passing at the 47th Street Station sir.
Good🤪😂
For real though can you imagine that
good mathematic
@Jaxz I can't believe you counted them all
probably just estimated based off the loop but still hilarious
I will never stop sampling and celebrating hip-hop. Much love to all the real hip-hop heads across the globe.
This is real hip hop. Limitless. Full of soul and life. Perfect for graff. Full of inspiration. Love this shit. Reminds me of being a youngbull.

I was gonna say keep going but then I saw the see more button, you’re the best
The real MVP
47th Street. I remember running up those stairs, getting to class back in the day…
I don’t know if you are agree with me, but i think this is the best genre music among all are exist. It’s beautiful, its history, its old represents, the feelin that causes is chill out, drop the problems for the window and smoke some shit.
Relax,only relax baby.
Blessings and I hope this genre never end.
I agree man, this kind of beats are timeless and always bring back some nostalgy, big up to all the real listeners around the world, Boom Bap till infinity!
It does have the aesthetic, rhythm, and nice jazz touches to hook me in. Definitely one of the best. I like this better than a lot of “lofi hip-hip stuff” the drum beats on these songs fit in well
ALL MUSIC IS GREAT AND makes different emotions.
@@bluesolace9052 The s950 filter and MPC 60 swing are pure magic (also SP1200 & ASR10, no doubt). Drums were mixed and layered just right. All the obscure break records/ foreign records were scooped up by many good producers way before internet/CZcams and outrageous prices. Everybody had a good ear for sounds. No plugins. (Minimal) clearance issues if you chopped enough and layered sounds. Hardware/physical touch to machines, vinyl, using your ears to beat match and figuring out timestretch. It was untapped. Like a jazz renaissance. I love it, forever.
kinda agree but its jazz for me
Missing those Days of Hip Hop
I know what u mean man. Especially them mid to late 90s hip hop cultural days that some of us ol heads lived and experienced✌
Miles better than any of these so called Trap beat. I mean i like some trap but this has so much more depth
Exactly, I wish they still made music like this
💯
Trap music is pretty trash but I'd say there's still quite a few artists that make this type of music.
Old School Hiphop is the bomb when you need to study
This mix is my go-to studying playlist now. It's insane how the boom bap rhythm enhances focus!
I agree!
Same bro, it´s amazing
Pretty certain music is supposed to be haram for abdools
been doing that since I was 13, studying while listening to boom bap style rap etc I remember my cousin saying to me: how can you consetrate with this thing on? I was like how can I concentrate without it ?
@@thebeatnumberIt's not becaude modern Islamic "scholars" says it's haram that it is today. Old Islamic scholars were both learned in Islam, Science, Music, Natation, Horse riding, Archery, Wrestling, Sword fighting etc.. Kitab Al Aghani was written during the 10th century CE under Abbasid rule, it's the most complete anthology of Arab music and poetry and it was written by someone of the same tribe of Prophet Muhammad the Quraysh, I think they were closer to early Islam in this period than now, and the author of the book is more suited to represent Islam than most Arabs and even more than any non Middle Eastern scholar (according to Islamic hadiths, Islam is only for descendants of Sem, Japheth and Ham, out of whom only Sem was wise enough to understand completely religion). I know it's controversial but de facto Mongoloids and Congoids aren't descendants of Noah, Ham's descendants are clearly listed and the darkest of them are the Cushites the rest are all over northern Africa i.e Egyptians and Maghrebis/Berbers.
respect to anyone who still loves the roots of hip hop
Still bumping this playlist in 2024 never forget how this helped me through my highschool days
Someone recommended I try studying to some lofi easy listening beats, it didn't work, the music was shit and my studies suffered. Then I came here....back to my 90s roots and now it's all good. Ball cap still on backasswards and bumping at 2AM to this, and the studies...yeah they are going fine as well. Thanks for putting this up Vibin'.
47 yrs old, brought up on Hip Hop since it started. Still can't beat the real stuff. 🙏
THE Infinite TRAIN OF CHILL
💪
Sounds like an awesome album title.
Thanks.
As I click on this. I'm bout to sleep cant stay up anymore.
✌
This the shit I listen to at work to keep me from losing it on everyone!
Big up, me too
What a great reminder that real hip hop can never change.
i CHEER YOU ON!
Just that the Boom Bap never left..
This is the perfect mix to smoke a blunt to and lay back 💯
was about ot do that lmao
To be high
It's equally perfect for waking up & jumping into your daily grind. They killed it wit this one 👌
Or get housework done
💚🌿
Got stuck on the BoomBap in the 80, when i hear a beat still makes me smile 40 years later
This mix is literally INSANE...
I cannot stop listening to it. What they sayin at 21:28 DJ Obsolete
From South Africa with love. This is my Roadtrip Soundtrack. #salute
"YOU KNOW MY STEELO " IS FIRE
This music reminds me of riding the BART train out here, the subway system in the Bay Area. Movin' outta Richmond, staring at the far away lights of SF with its shining bridge, brake lights decorating with reds, going under the bay and coming up in downtown Oakland - passing over the rickity Macarthur station, waiting for the old Raiders stadium to show up in the distance and the Fruitvale announcement (R.I.P. Oscar Grant) .. cuz that meant West Oakland station was comin; up, and I was almost home...
that queens joint , walking thru the city blocks with the chilly air blowing gently around you on your way home from school. i left nyc but i'll be back. NYC will always be home, born and raised, it taught me to think fast and move fast.
Here we go again!
fix... :)
Excellent!
This is real hip hop music respect from Guatemala
I remember getting off that stop and the one before and after lol😂
It's weird that i truly started listening to the rap of my youth only in my later years. Just great timeless music. And that station - reminds me of so much. Also this set makes me think of battery Park, the ferry, in cold winter, trying my best to survive in a big city. All those years ago.
From the 313🔥🔥🔥
I was listening to such music in 2009-2013. That time I was using subway on a daily basis. Can't imagine how many tags I made in subway cars listening to these masterpieces. Now I'm 26 and don't wanna anybody know my blackside. Lol I still find my way home from the tags on the walls when I'm drunk. Definitely honest music without cuts. Actually I share much respect to all hip hop artists. Much love from Moscow.
My respect to you
И тебе респект, бро! Фром SaintP ;))
Its crazy how many people come back to this everyday... this song is a masterpiece!!
I whole-heartedly concur 😊
its crazy how many people copy and paste this comment on songs and still get likes for it lol
the right music can make it all come alive
No one ad in this master piece. Thanks a lot bro
Born and raised in Los Angeles, and I got into these beats cause of The Stiizy Lofi channel. Never had the intention to travel to NYC. But now I do cause of these beats. Thank you for this playlist.
Damn this is good ! Thank you from 2023
Jinsfake - U Know My Steeloe - Vibing for the neighborhood and truly regulating the heartbeat!
I feel sad for all the people who get stuck to one genre of music. There's so much good shit, don't limit yourself.
This music makes me feel like there's a better world out there that we are all missing somehow.
the 90s?
maybe those vibes still exist with some people, you just gotta find em
There's a better world in your mirror. That's who is in control of it all.
It's alive and well in NYC. Come check it out.
so smooth my dude!
Nice to see you here

So many bikers i enjoy biking around town to this

just went back to hip hop yesterday. After a couple months of Black Metal and indie Rock, im finally bak into BOOM FUC KING BAP!!
whoever put this together is a saviour.
Hip Hop is not dead
Hip hop is not dead, it’s just gone back underground where it belongs and should never have left.
Heard Damu at the beginning and I knew it was gonna be cold.
Yes !!! I found this while browsing boom-bop instrumentals. The Boom-bop hip hop era is my favorite, or better yet - THE REAL HIP HOP
... and there are 4 Volumes of this ?!?!?!? INSAAAAAANE !!!!
...Thanks Man :) :) :) ... Keep em coming
I had to spin back to this to help me focus through this Data Analysis and Business Analysis Course >> Thanks you ✨👌
These Beats Reminds Me Of My Cassette Tape Days (Still Poor) & It Definitely Brings Back Nostalgic Memories 💯
The loop of the train is amazing...
wtf how can u get all this masterpieces in one vid
That damu the fudgemunk tune at the start was nice to hear.
I've been listening to that guys music for a while and have never seen him get any recognition.
I like how he uses samples that have already been used by popular artists and makes them unique.
Like on who they flock uses the same sample as biggies who shot ya.
And I'm sure on the 2nd last beat on here he has the same sample as jurassic 5s thin line. But I'm not sure on that one
dude, the guy has a wikipedia article
@@nahdyabiz207 ok and what am I supposed to do with this information?
@@nahdyabiz207 I'm not saying damu is obscure or anything and there is people who are basically nobody's and they have a Wikipedia page so I don't understand what your trying to say
@@cmclbeats Nahdya is just wondering what you mean by recognition, probably. Mainstream successs? As an aside, hiphop today needs a new name, bcos all those new guys (you know who i mean, some have Lil in their name) are Pop artists, even though they would deny it. Their music needs a new genre name. Some don't even rap. Method Man himself said he doesn't know where they get their money. Compare them to Madonna, and Tears for Fears, and compare Damu to Rakim or Krs.
This made me become a believer in hip hop and rap again and helped me to start writing again. Thank you so much for the inspiration!😀👌⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠
this feels so good, i've never heard these particular tracks but they feel so nostalgic and bring back so many memories of a time when music felt like this in the 90s and early 2000s
and 80s too 👌🏻
me too, It's amazing how music can convey that to you
yesir
King Jakyrie Boom Bap Tape has some of these beats. Much respect to the Boom Bap and the origin of real hip hop.
We need this now more than ever.
Dean dude this is OG best vibes beats🫡😎👍🏽🥳🙏🏼✌🏽🎶🎶✨💫
This is a classic now. Give it 10 years and let's see. My money's on this over some Lil Uzi any day. This video was banned in my country briefly and I thought I'd never hear it again. Rejoice in the power of Music. These producers will be in Hip Hop history for years to come.
This is a mix I return to every now and then, when I really want to relax & get energized! Thank u for the vibe!
long live Hip-Hop! i miss the days when most tracks had live instruments!
This type of music is so very missed, but appreciated in 2020. For people who say they do not like Hip~Hop the fact is. they know nothing about Hip~Hop. It is its own world.
Thank you to the Black American Race for making this mix possible with your awesome invention of hip-hop and Rap music in BX NYC USA none of us across the world could have these amazing sounds and beats, you taught the world to listen to, to indulge and now cant get enough, now everyone copies and relishes and pays homage to this awesome invention hiphop rap no lo fi no code fi no chill hop trill hop trip hop or anything without it. You listen to hip-hop and are a true conoseur one can tell by these beats used and those infused with it, you guys are indeed fans of the ART of hip-hop which is why you made such an awesome mix it just goes to show by your ears the legends dead and alive would probably sit in a studio with you sip drinks and smile at your productions you really made hiphop rap productions of boom bap feel and sound so authentic. Truly takes a special ear and usually someone of the culture to do it, you did a great job. I hope more can make compilations as good as you have with these Boom Bap sounds. Black Americans have invented innovated contributed so much, and Boom Bap isn't always appreciated but the fact that you made the gritty come alive again, you have to be so proud of yourself for being able to etch and copy and put out such art and sound. The originators of Boom bap and the sounds are one for the true appreciators. Kudos to this mix and all the others you have I liked thumbs up and added to play list and shared to the fellow boom bap lovers, many give you props keep doing your thing, you're respecting hiphop rap art and not butchering it, this is truly good sounds. ITs good to appreciate Black American creators art and people, and not just use it and not acknowledge the Essence in which it comes. Return of Boom Bap was perfect name to label these. btw
The never ending Pre Corona train and 10.13 is hands down the sickest beat
who you think could've spit over that beat back in the days?
Mark LeeMaoShengHiNoon I believe that B.I.G. or Pun would have destroyed it 🔥 These drums, bass line and horns need somebody with power in voice and mad rhymes. Sounds kinda like newer version of some demo tracks before Ready to Die came out, peace!
Thank you "Vibin' s 🎼" for your work/ video...Boop bam melodies, classic, underground hip-hop, which, as other style of music, correspond to the city of New York...I lived 24 years in this city, and many times with the rest people, I also had to go up, down on these the stairs, including of this metro station ( 47-50 streets Rockefeller Center Station of Manhattan) of New York subway...
Shout out to these playlists for finally getting me to stop procrastinating and do some work.

SO GLAD THIS IS BACK 80S NYC WAS POPPIN
In this world of fear, I stand tall and strong,
A man navigating a path where expectations belong,
They say I must be tough, never show a tear,
But beneath the surface, there's a soul to revere.
Society's pressure weighs heavy on my chest,
To conform to the image, I must be the best,
But I won't let it define me, I'll break the mold,
Unleash my true self, be courageous and bold.
90s Flav IMATION is the best beat in the whole mix 🔥💯
90s anyone?? Just chillin with your peoples and having an amazing time. Whether u spark up a blunt or sip on some liquor chillin to the dope vibes without getting rowdy listening to music like this. NYC is present. Where you rep?
