I am a huge fan of George and Gracie.
I used to listen to George narrate his book, Gracie, here on CZcams, but they removed it a year or so ago. Man it was so good!
I enjoy the Burns & Allen show, it's so much more enjoyable then anything else on television now a days! I also like to listen to the old radio shows from the Golden Age of Hollywood.
What a great team they are, and are now back together!!! ❤️
Despite the age difference? They were basically the same age. Gracie Allen was born July 26, 1895 and Burns was born on January 20, 1896. So she was only about 6 months older than him.
If you read George’s books he describes in detail about his relationship with Gracie and how it evolved.

I JUST finished reading the book he wrote about her 'Gracie'. It was so heartfelt and it made me cry. They really did love each other, and even decades after her death he was still in love right until the very end.

Leaving out the story about the first time that Goerge was put on stage with Gracie who was sitting on a bench playing a spacey girl and how he fell in love with her on stage instantly is a tragic omission

While I like this channel this particular tale is a bit random. The order is all hodgepodge. Chaotic
I noticed that as well, lots of the timeline was jumping around.
Why the frequent repetition of the “love story?. Why just the narrator speaking? Why no films clips showing us Burns and Allen’s talent and allowing the viewer to hear their voices again? Also, things were out of order and the pictures did not coincide with the narration.
This is the weirdest take on George Burns (and his long-term relationship with stage partner Gracie Allen) that I've ever, ever heard--and one of the least accurate as well. It would take three CZcams channels to correct the mischaracterizations, half-truths and fawning haigiography that besmirches the reputations of two of the 20th Century's premier comic personae that constitutes this video. I'm a fan of this channel but, brother, you sure dropped the ball on this one! I'd say take it down and then do it right the next time....
