Without A Doubt Penn St had the top Athletes coming out of the draft this year!! (Not best football players) but between Barkley, Mike G and Apke this is one Athletic group!! Those guys were in the top 5 for everything at the combine!!

Hes the biggest sleeper because hes humble and barely celebrates his big plays but mark my words he will be a beast in the nfl. He already showed out at the NFLPA Collegiate all star game by taking home the MVP trophy.

Actually it helps you not be recognized. Celebrations after big defensive plays garner attention and hence help players gain a following. Sleepers are unrecognized talented players.

This is why the Combine and School Pro days are good...especially the combine. This kid made plays all season but his talent takes backseat to his RB teammate who also did great at the combine. Glad to watch the combine and see this kid OPEN EYES for all of the nation to see. good luck

Redskins fan that enjoyed watching Apke play at PSU. One of my favorite players to watch last year. Especially the OSU game I remember being him everywhere.
I understand the flaws some of the Draft guys have on him (read-react a bit slow, and form tackling), but he is fast and has his best games in big games.
Need depth in secondary. Could be used in slot coverage filling hole left by Fuller leaving, and also good 2-deep depth safety for Everett and possibly Swearinger. Good pickup.
Someone’s going to get a steal. Great combo of size and speed. 3rd-4th round for sure

Great instinct on the ball and closing speed. Takes great lines to the ball carrier. Little concerned about his strength. HTTR
That speed definitely translates. I know it sounds crazy but he reminds me of a young polamalu the way he blows up plays before they develop or being the last line of defense with his speed n football iq. He may not b flashy but he’s solid. He could develop into a good player.

Pick 9: Quenton Nelson (please, oh pretty please)
Pick 59: Sam Hubbard or Leighton Vander Esch (please, oh pretty please)
Pick 70: Troy Apke (please, oh pretty please)
Then draft a 1st/2nd down Black running back in the 4th round. Nick Chubb or Rashaad Penny would be nice, but they probably won't be there. Kalen Ballage maybe.

PJ White you're absolutely right. The knock on him was he lowers his head resulting in missed tackles but I believe torian gray could.coach him up. Reed Doughty was the man when Sean Taylor passed. Much respect.

Has amazing speed and breaks on the ball so quick. But he seems to go for the big hit instead of the INT. If he was more of a "ball hawk" he could be an amazing deep safety in a cover 3, and ed reed type
