i mean makes sense due to her absurdly high uptime,and her slow apply not really being a factor for his quicken teams,doh i wonder how a quickburn team would do.
i used a overburn team for awhile and even with a constant burning aura i still got spread and aggravate procs so it shouldnt be impossible,but if its even worthwhile even with emilie is questionable i guess.

Yeah, she doesn't enable or support burning teams, she is an good offield burning dps, that's it.
Theoretically her melt teams are quite stronger than Nahida's, especially Wrio ones. I don't understand the hate, she's really strong.
@@yoursteban3713 That wasn't the point being discussed in this comment, it was questioning whether Emilie could replace Nahida in melt Ganyu, which is doubtful. From what I gather, she will be a pretty strong unit, but she doesn't enable burning, she's enabled by burning, that's the big difference

i wonder if nahida's c2 with emilie is a fun team since nahida c2 can crit dendro related reaction. like benny, nahida, emilie and furina then benny c6 dps is the on fielder.
Emilie's point is not burning damage itself, so making it crit is not useful for the team. For the team you mentioned, only Nahida is built full EM, but there's no guarantee she'd have ownership over the burning reaction, so most of the time burning won't do that much. That said, you can make a burning team with Nahida for burning damage, like Air Fryer, in which case her C2 is useful, but these teams are not for Emilie.

Klee + Emilie + Xianyun + Furina
Klee applies the most pyro in the game should be plenty to keep burning up and let Furina vape and Emilee "burn", Xianyun lets Klee be a Plunging DPS while swirling pyro and her ult obviously couples with Furina for huge bonus.
Feels like a very comfy and fun team.
For a TC who focuses on f2p options and loves to tell people "not to spend money on this shit game", zajef uses battlepass weapons as his base assumption way too often.
If he uses the bp as bottomline weapon to use, most of the time the unit need very high investment
its actually what most tc's ive seen use when calculating polearm characters. TGS also uses deathmatch in his assumptions. i think its because other 4* polearm options are quite frankly terrible
@@cappycap8144 while that is true I've never heard other TCs tell people to not spend money on the game. They just give their opinions and you do you.
Zajef being a big TC, when he says stuff like not spending money on the game it does color opinions (don't get me wrong, i agree with him to not spend money on this game especially if you can't afford it, it's not really worth it). So if he says that he should be providing f2p options.
No sense in saying that you shouldn't spend money on the game but then using a paid weapon for calcs that are mostly aimed at f2p players just because he bought a battlepass weapon when he started.
It has to be arrested since a fair portion of players do buy BP

Idky people keep assuming snapshots are a thing. it was a bug in 1.0 that they didnt realise until it was to late. Every unit in the game has snap shots at the start. then they patch it out unless the character is a offensively weak support. They will never let a character snapshot like xiangling because that was an accident.
It wasn't an accident, most likely. Snapshotting is generally a good thing, as it allows damage over time characters to compare on an even footing with direct damage teams.
The problem is that they made Bennett. All the units not snapshotting is most likely due to him.
I has never been a bug, modern characters still snapshot, only that never the good characters or talents. Dehya skill, charlotte burst, yaoyao skill, etc all snapshot to absolutely no point at all…

@@Axterix13 I a guarantee it was an accident. I've played a lot of RPGs over the years. Snapshotting is always broken. I guess me calling it a bug is wrong but it was also never intentional. It's just the easiest way to program abilities. To remove snapshotting means they have to do extra work which is annoying for them. So every character has it at the start and if they find it too beneficial they remove it. Xiangling and bennett just slipped through the cracks because they were launch characters and they had so much going on.
Idk actually. If it was really a bug then the moment they realized, they would have fixed everything (including xiangling, fishcl, and noelle) and stopped in 1.0.
And yet there were some still some characters being released afterwards that can snapshot. (Such as beidou in 1.1, rosaria in 1.4, I believe Ganyu burst can as well? And she is in 1.2, and ayaka in 2.0).
I feel like the team she gets to her full potential would be Emilie, Nahida, Bennett (C6) Furina. This way she's on field and in Bennett's ult so she gets his atk buff for her skill and burst and applies pyro through her autos to keep up the pyro aura, meanwhile Furina buffs and vapes off field. You get a lot of dmg out of it. All other teams is just her ***being there*** not really doing anything but doing mediocre dmg because there's no way to buff it off field other than with Furina and Deepwood. You could argue she's there to apply dendro but there are so many other options. Also I don't think burning overload with Cyno would work? Wouldn't overload remove the burning aura? especially with Fischl on the team

Bennett has always been a good enough healer for furina. He will heal most characters to near 100% during their setups. This includes other supports, not just the in field

Characters released in the region pre-patches always get glow ups once the next region characters and mechanics show up.
She seems like a character that will be used in THE burning team, but not the actual character that enables that team.
I honestly wish they made the burning enabler character Geo, and not Hydro/Pyro just to mess with people.

Probably, dehya is trash, but she still can apply burn. Also bring thoma and nahida too, so now your dehya team is solid. Even if you got lag spike and forgot to use dehya skill and burst, this team still will do significant damage.

Emilie does not apply dendro once every 3 seconds neither is her kit short range, what the hell. One dendro app every 3s is what you get with the level 1 turret, which you won't ever stay stuck with on a burning team. With a level 2 turrent she applies dendro once every 1,5s second, which is definitely enough to maintain good burning uptime by itself. Emilie's skill literally has over half of the abyss chamber as the range, you're not gonna struggle against mobile enemies either
Emilie's skill has special ICD, it can only apply at most once per 2s. In practice that means every other hit, or every 3 seconds.
He's definitely wrong about the range though.

her skills AOE is the same as the DMC burst with Hydro infusion. That's like half the spiral abyss floor. Why is he trashing her range so bad? Also, he didn't even factor in actual Burning enhancers, like Sucrose and Kazuha who u build with EM and have Crowd-Control. Since the Burning effect gets reapplied when two enemies are close two each other, it seems criminal not include Anemo characters in his analysis.
He is talking about the blast AOE range of the single missile attack from her E when it hit the target. Not the field trigger range.

I don't know what he's even talking about Kirara C4 has Dendro app every 3.8s and I never lose Quicken uptime on Clorinde... So how could Emilie at 3s, a quicker refresh, be worse?

Ok bear with me, i'm really trying my best to understand... Everyone knows that Nahida is the best dendro applicator in Genshin right? That's common knowledge even new players know that any dendro team in the game sucks without her. Why would anyone pull for Emilie and not save for Nahida?
Émilie has no AOE, her attack range is awful and her dendro app is even worse than Baizhu...

Dendro teams don't really suck without nahida, sure they're all a lot better with her but teams like Alhaitham quickbloom and baizhu double hydro hyperbloom don't fall too far behind.
Sometimes players just like the character, their kit and mechanics so they want them to be strong enough in their niche to pull for them.
Emillie just like fischl but dendro, the main focus of her is her off-field damage. So different than nahida who give a lot em and dendro app
Everything the others said is true, but her main selling point is doing damage without quicken, all the others dendro units need quicken to do respectable damage, even Nahida. So she is a dendro unit that actually do damage in teams without electro
Nahida is heavily tied to either electro or Nilou bloom. Emilie opens up a new avenue of damage by maintaining burning aura for melt or vape or even Lyney mono pyro since he gains damage from attacking pyro-afflicted enemies. Given that she's releasing before Natlan, there's a high chance there's new pyro synergies in Natlan and that in itself will work against Nahida unless there's a new character that functions with burgeon
Emilie has better damage than Nahida for non quicken teams. Nahidas burning damage is not that strong. Emilie has decent dendro app, especially with her A1 being taken into account. Her burst applies dendro 9 times in a somewhat AoE quadratic scaling like Ayato or ganyu.
Emilie will just feel better in multi wave and Nahida will have to recast again in multiwave with a bunch of weak enemies but despite Emilie ST nature of her skill, she would have an easy time just picking off enemies.
It's like at this point, the genshin community doesn't want dendro sub dps but just dendro application whether on field or off field, calling for such a stagnant approach to dendro simply because spread and hyperbloom are quite broken.
