Track Packing in the Pyrenees

When you find a TOUGH hill climb, with ROCKS, RUTS & STEPS, what do you do to get up the track? Southern_4x4 usually has a cautious attempt to see where the MIGHTY GU might struggle, and sometimes it surprises me by making it all the way! But what do you do if your STOPPED in your tracks??
