I honestly think that the fans shouldn't ask the voice actors about the yaoi pairings. I really think that pushes the line a bit. I like yaoi, I really do, I just don't like the fans trying to the push the actors to think about it when they obviously don't really care what the characters do 'behind the scenes'. Hate me if you want, I just think it's bad taste to keep asking when they have already said they really don't care; if the fans like it, fine.

It is kind of rude to ask voice actors if they ship their own characters. It's weird, you know, it's like thinking...Oh, I'd like to kiss that guy because, blah, my character wants to. It's odd, and must be awkward for. I mean I ship stuff too, but I'd never, you know, ask the VA if they did. Like, wow, embarrassing.

i asked the 'how do you feel about your yaoi pairing!' xD great memories, great memories...all the voice actors who attended that panel had nicknamed me 'yaoi girl' and after that, every panel i went to the voice actors would look at me and be like "oh...i heard about you from eric...you're yaoi girl' xD i couldnt go to any panel without atleast one of the actors saying that xD

You guys should be more sensitive to the voice actors. It is clear that they are getting uncomfortable with these questions. They don't ship anything. They're straight. They're just trying to do their jobs. You heard them, they get these questions all the time and that's just rude. They are in the business to do the voices and bring us a great anime, not give us fan service.

Agreed. Hetalia is NOT Yaoi it's Shounen-ai. Difference between them is that in Shounen-ai there is boy love but not anything.. well.... umm... 18+ stuff... if you know what I mean... and In Yaoi there is that kind of stuff...

I know that Tatum was gay (dunno who the other guy plays. Name sounds familiar). He's not in this panel and I'm pretty sure the rest of the Hetalia cast is straight. I don't exactly see the significance of pointing that out.
I've always viewed those "alliances" as brotherly friendships. Never have I seen actual "yaoi" in Hetalia. Except for in the Hetalia fandom where they try to turn Hetalia into something it's not. -_-
There really is becoming a fine line for yaoi, some fangirls are crossing it way to much. Get a life other than one of nothing but yaoi! Please yaoi is far to popularized!
