- Today is 4/26/2022, but by the time you watch this video might be a month later. Prospect park is no stranger to any urban fisherman. This lake is so big that despite thousands of fishermen's abuse, bass are spawning on time. That is also why most people catches small bass here. I do believe lunkers exist in this water, BUT those experienced bass learnt so many painful lessons and over the years it's just getting harder to catch them.
Just an idea for those live nearby, maybe try fishing before sun rise, I mean, like 3 to 4 am early, use wake bait, and see what happens

Yeah. That’s my homelake. I fish prospect a lot and love boathouse area. Waterfall always produces but snags can be nasty
There are bigger bass but hard to catch them. Very pressured waters and I see 40 anglers some days.
Pickerel is rare. I caught maybe 30 picks to 750 bass in that lake so it can be completely random. But they do get big (22”+)
I know, you are certainly the top celebrities there, lol. I was thinking maybe bigger fish adapted to eat at night, could try wake bait in the main lake at night

Good morning sir it's me again which you probably know me by now by heart my name I used to live not too far from prospect Park in Park slope I only live a couple of blocks away from prospect Park where you at you we're at The boathouse I used to fish there a lot when I was a kid there are a lot of big bass tonight a you just got to look
Oh and I forgot to tell you there are six tiger muskie in that lake
