- Bury New Road also known as 'Counterfeit Street' in Manchester once hosted lots of shops that sold fake clothing, trainers & various other things such as electrical goods and aftershaves.
People used to travel from all over the country to shop here to grab themselves cut priced designer clothing.
Recently Manchester police operated a series of high profile raids closing the shops down and arresting people for a wide range of offences. It is thought that the area will be eventually cleared for housing.

No all the goods are fake. Once seized the police destroy them.
