I love how Muscle form All Might and skinny All Might have two different personalities. The former is confident and even brags at times, but the latter is just this wholesome dorky dad who just loves his newfound son so much and can doubt himself at times. The fact that he mastered enough acting skills to pull off that public persona also demonstrate that you have to be a bit of a showman to work as a hero, so that people will get attached to your charisma and root for you. It's something Endeavor is starting to understand (with the raised fist and all, in season 4). Hope Deku can do that as well to boost his confidence and also Bakugou, but in reverse, tone down his overbearing personality to appear more relatable to the masses and gain a following of his own too.
That will only happen when he makes his body suited for OFA.
Tbh I don't really like this idea of having a different person for the public, heroes are celebrities and not heroes in the MHA world and I dislike it. I mean, my personality is like this, I wouldn't change just to get the love from the public yk. I know that it sounds negative, but being a heroe is a show, not a job anymore
@@Skydragon-qj6ww Part of the job is the showmanship. That's why heroes pick out costumes and names and the like. Much of All Might's ability to be the Symbol of Peace comes from his insane popularity; the fact that heroes and villains alike know that he is there.
It's not wrong for a hero to overhaul their personality while on duty. All Might himself says that he displays so much charisma in public in order to trick the fear inside of him, and to alleviate other people's fears.

When I saw All Might for the first time I thought he was gonna be a boring character to be honest but I love to accept that he is the first character who made me emotionally attached to the show and actually made me emotional. I love him as a character.

Shinsou: He is looking with anger because he knows that even if he would win his quirk would still be regarded as one that fits a villain not a hero.
Monoma: He believes he is at best a supporting character not the main hero. And knows that someone with his quirk couldn't win the contest and this is all just a lie to boost morale.
Shigaraki: He knows his quirk is too destructive in nature to fight without killing someone and that he could never be a hero.
