Lets Go KROGERING! I remember getting stickers at the Kroger in Athens, Ohio saying that. I miss shopping at Kroger, although when I go to Dallas there are some there. Also In a lot of old cook books they talk about a #300 can of peaches, etc. I think a #10 can is the big size like about a gallon's worth. Don't hear those kind of measurements much any more.
IDIDieselJohn. Actually in comparason some things are cheaper....in 1968. Milk was about 79 cents p gallon I have gotten milk aat Aldi and sams a bit over 1.00 gal..like 1.19... Eggs were like 39 to 59 cents got them about 79 cents and even less at Aldis...so???.
Jeffery,

So between the catsup, fruit drinks and peaches and pork and beans you got 22 things for $4??
I think so. I wish so nowadays. Spent 5 dollars on 4 cans of soup alone today.
Yes, they do, back near the milk cooler, or the butcher shop, either one I believe. Harper road Kroger that is.

Couldn't you record the sound using an audio cable instead of the mic? The results would be much better
Is this the same Stokely that was the original manufacturer of Gatorade?
