The social science program is amazing! Any program at Mac definitely has it's perks! The social sciences has many streams that you can declare as a major towards the end of your first year at Mac!
I want to go to mcmaster, I am gonna be applying this year and want to move out but dorm room wise I feel like waterloo and western have better dorms, this is one of the worst dorms Ive ever seen.
Hi Eaman, moving out to a dorm is an amazing experience! I moved in to one of the oldest dorms on campus - Matthews Hall (opened in 1965), and honestly, I loved it! The environment I got on campus and the hype of my other rezmates was just a blast. If you are looking more of a updated and newer residence, I recommend you checking Mary Keyes Hall and Les Prince Hall (which are Mac's newest Rez buildings!) GO MAC GO!
+Tanya Soni Hey! Matthews wasn’t my first choice, was hoping for either Hedden or even Les Prince. But nonetheless, being put into Matthews has been an amazing experience. (the first few days were hard because you are transitioning from your home to somewhere different and its okay to feel like that (as seen in my video)) but ultimately, the friends you meet in residence I guarantee will make you feel like you are living on campus and that you will have the best time of your life! Welcome Week also helped a lot through the transition! Each residences are different in styles, however Matthews I can proudly say is one of the best ones out there. In Matthews we became a family and all in all, Matthews Hall will forever be part of me (lool, cheesy?). I will hopefully be making an end of the year video about my experience! If you have any other questions about McMaster, Residence or Programs or anything at all, do feel free to message me!
late reply but... McMaster is definitely a hot spot for its psych program! You might have heard one of our famous profs.... Dr. Joe Kim! There are different focused streams for psychology which you apply for by the end of your second year, subjected if you choose to go to the psych route. But ultimately, it is one of the most hyped programs here at Mac
