You know what would be an awesome team? Shang and Shujinko. The two thieves stealing souls, moves, combos, and brutalities!
fun little thing with that combo, you have theoretical constant pressure. Old shang normal combo, into shujinkos punch, then the mix up on if you wanna do basic combo again, or shujinkos cancels. super fun and annoying, I love running them
if you watch waz he runs that team sometimes it’s pretty entertaining
First team I maxed out even tho shu was very niche depending on matchup they legit are perfect together!

super you can stagger fwd 4, 1, 2 and open people up with grabs or you can switch to young shang mid string and catch em with the overhead or down 3 into bed of spikes

For some reason, when shang, and maybe the enemy's fatal blow startup cutscene thing plays it transforms him into young form.
I don’t know why that sudden brutality was so funny to me 😂

Me personally Mk11. Shang is my fave Mk character lorewise but they always make him a zoner lol. At least in 11 you could customise abilities to give him more combos. Here your forced into a classic shang playstyle. Whenever I play Shang I end up playing mostly as the opponent 😅

16:02 you can absolutely cancel old Shang’s f4,1,2,1 into young Shang’s db3. Input the db3 and press dL2 before the db3 comes out.
