Liverpool fan here, no chance Trent will start in midfield, he’ll be at RB like normal, also our DM options are Endo, Jones and Bajectic. However Slot has seen Endo as not good enough and wants to upgrade on the CDM position before the transfer window shuts.

Great content !! As a Liverpool fan I feel there is too much uncertainty around Trent and the defense as a whole so its better to wait and watch. I got Salah atm but its between Salah + Watkins and Haaland + a 6.5 mid and I feel the former will score more points for first 6 game weeks unless a 6.5 mid really gets off to a flyer ..

Big believer that Liverpool's best XI is Allison, Trent, Ibra, VVD, Rob, Mac, Endo, Szo, Gakpo, Jota, Salah. I don't think Mac can play 6 and Diaz is too wasteful when Gakpo showed in Euros how good he is on the left
Kind of agree with Mark but Slots system will potentially good for Sboz if a number 10 but it has been mentioned that his best position is actually an 8. There is an assumption in the FPL community he will be a 10 which is not certain in reality. He would be providing the through balls to whoever is playing as the striker so both could benefit. BOTH Salah and Diaz ( whoever plays left) will benefit as Slot likes his number 10 to feed the wide forwards who BOTH cut in . If thet click Salah could be immense but so could Diaz ( or the left sided player). Simple as that really. Going without Salah is a huge risk IF they hit the ground running.. they certainly have the fixtures too

Have you thought about researching historical average goals per game in Aug/Sep compared to later months of the season? I feel there are more goals at the start and most teams are still finding their shape and togetherness defensively. It would perhaps make it easier to fill up the defense with 4.5s and 4.0s until GW6 WC. If my impression is correct of course.
Didn't Salah have something like 12 shots at goal in one game late last season (against Brighton?) for one goal? Maybe the stats don't tell the full story and perhaps he just isn't as clinical as he once was.
if Oscar Bobb gets game time then he'll be very popular. quality player but will be subject to rotation. likewise if Lewis gets some more game time over Walker he'll be popular. they both need to be starting more games now so hopefully we see that happening. Villa have so many options in that midfield now (even, unbelieveably, being linked with Phillips today! hahahah!) Rogers will be open to rotation as much as the city players.
Lewis is talented which is why he's been in the squad for couple of seasons despite his young age. However he is physically still very light and isn't ready to be a regular in a team that has collection of int. level defenders.

Konate will be competing with Quansah who had an outstanding breakthrough season. All very well Jota has a great points per minute, but if he doesn't start he's a no go. Massive threat of rotation with so many attackers in that Liverpool side.

Mark is a big FPL Review user and has that Lateriser 'chancer' Win big or bust style which is fair enough and takes balls so he will always have good finishes. My point is he is playing a dangerous game because he could sink early again. The fact he is going against the highest scoring players of last year means he's relying on a lot of luck that they keep quiet or it could be another 4mil OR catch-up season

for perspective Foden scored 230 last season and Haaland scored 217
Haaland had a few injuries and wasn’t as sharp as the previous season. I expect he will be back in the 250-260 range again
