You were Having REAL WORLD PROBLEMS with those 30" fronts!!! I've been customizing 1/64's for a few years. I did take a RACING Champions 1/24 Stock Rod 55 Chevy. It was a "bud" car without the BUD livery. I painted it Red/White. It turned out really well!! Love the wheel swaos Brother!! I'm from Alabama and them 30's are everywhere down here😅 !!
I just bought my first diecast 2 days ago. Then I bought two more yesterday. I went to 7 different Walmart’s and 3 different targets. The selfs are running thin do to Christmas. But I’m hooked lol. I subscribed to your channel. Thanks for the vids!!!

I used goof off on the JADA blue 1989 mustang to remove the 5.0 strip of the side fender and it light weight ate though the blue paint .. so have to be quick wit it if using goof off
It depends. I usually just swap wheels from car to car and compare the size and just go for it. If your buying wheels for a 510 I would make sure they're 1;24
I believe the one you talking about is a 20th anniversary edition. Jada 1/24. I stripped the blue stripe off the sides and added different wheels and modified the interior
Will a soldering iron work instead of a "wood burning tool"? I heated the axle (using the soldering iron) enough to make the tyres rotate independently but I cannot seem to pull the axle of as you do it with ease. Could there be something that I am missing. Is there something that is holding the axle back? In my case it is Jada Toys Knight Rider KITT 1/24. Need some help and guidance from you. I have seen your other videos and tried to do it the same way only to fail. I have literally used the soldering iron as long as 5-10 mins.
I never used a soldering iron. It sounds like the iron not getting hot enough. The wood burning tool I have only takes about 35 seconds to heat. I've recently started used a small crow bar to help pry the wheels off after I heat that rod.

Also I just read soldering irons are designed to reach the temperature range from 200 to 480 deg C. Which is pretty much the same temperature as that of a wood burning tool. Correct me if I am wrong.
I ordered them off eBay. I just googled replacement wheels. They come in 6 sets of different wheels. They come in 1:24 & 1:18. I tend to use the 1:18 wheels on my 1:24 cars. Hope that helps

I strolled up in Walmart and they did not have one single 1/24 scale anything. So I checked the 1/64 Hot Wheels section just to see if they had anything cool and they had the 1:50 scale new Batmobile and the New Batcycle.

My method to change the tires is finding the same car in another color with nice tires and just switch the bottom of the cars.
Dud can you advise what brand of paint you purchase to the chrome imitation parts on the jada toys? If you need to restore one??
Use a torch a small one and heat up the axle

It depends. I usually just swap wheels from car to car and compare the size and just go for it. If your buying wheels for a 510 I would make sure they're 1;24
