Steve Whitfield Feeder Fishing 'Short Lines' At Worsbrough Reservoir

  • A lot of feeder only matches are won in summer by exploiting what are know as short lines, that's to say a short cast to say thirty metres and additionally a spot over what would ordinarily be the long pole line, say 11-15 metres out, later in the match. Steve uses the new CR10 11ft #1 feeder rod to good effect, showing how its softer action is ideal in such a scenario.

    Great video !!! I've always not had much in confidence in clipping up my line if I'm honest. Just a quick question Steve you said about having to unclip your line if you have a bigger fish but don't you then lose where you clipped up in the first place or do you mark your line to for back up?

    Hi,can you tell me which 11ft feeder would best suit my needs.I fish mainly commercials,with carp touching double figures......I'm unsure which, the no1 or no 2 feeder rod.Thanks in advance.

    These videos are really good quality but there is way to much of that corny music.
