- CB350 H'ness problems and other big issues is what people are trying to find because CB350 hness and RS both are close to perfect motorcycles mechanically.
However, this fantastic bike has a scar from discussions on issues like the CB350 High Altitude Problem and gearing Issue. But if there was never a problem worth discussing, can this scar be healed? lets investigate
CB350 from Honda is second to none as it offers segment-leading refinement quality and performance.
What I like about the motorcycle is the sheer amount of detail and quality present in every part of the machine. This makes CB 350 hness and CB350 RS truly special and the owner feels amazing while riding it.
If you are looking so CB 350 review you can find a lot of videos on my channel have covered almost every detail on a motorcycle by appreciating the good points and talking about the negative points as well this motorcycle is near to perfect and is one of the best motorcycles in the segment.
Since every bike has its fair share of cons and pros, CB350 has cons as well but none mechanical. All the issues are something that is explained in the video and is not mechanical but has something else to do with the bike.
CB 350 Honda has a good amount of torque and top speed, also a very refined long stroke motor which produces 30 NM of torque which is segment-leading.
There are very limited colors to choose from in the CB350 Rs or even the Highness as you have two variants the DLX and DLX Pro the DLX Pro comes with a set of options and Bluetooth connectivity. the Honda Hness CB350 also comes with a very useful app and controls on the handlebar.
In terms of exhaust sound, CB350 produces a very bassy rumble which is amazing to hear for both the rider and everyone around it. I absolutely loved the exhaust sound from the shooter exhaust, which offers an absolute soul to the bike.
In terms of accessories like leg guard crash guard, mudguard problem and also different seat for touring all of these could be available by the manufacturer or possible get done at the aftermarket only time will tell.
So how good is the CB 350? is it better than Royal Enfield meteor 350 or CB 350 RS is better than CB 350 harnes, all of these questions will be answered in this video or any of my videos which have been uploaded in the past.

Hi Sir,
Usually I won't comment. But your videos made me share the comments. What ever u said is absolutely correct about the hunter, Reborn classic as I already owned them.
Even though I watch reputed viewers, your videos are more practical in nature. Wonderful work !!
Thank you so much for your support sir 🙏
Yamaha r15 brake pad cost is nearly 14000rs. We don't get brake fluid from showroom.

I have been riding CB350 for 2 years now. The bike never disappoints me. This bike is so nimble and powerful, it gives the confidence to take it anywhere. The only disappointment I have is I bought it quite early, the company solved a lot of issues in these 2 years and the latest models are truly value for money.😛
That’s all okay. They take another 20 years to keep on solving issues rather than bringing new engine or model.
What are those issues solved in recent versions?
Is your bike the 2021 model ?
@@sandeepv7730 things like fit n finish, paint quality, color options, have improved. Not a huge change but slight everyday changes
Bro your absolutely wrong Honda is never less service cost
It's good that you made a valuable content regarding all the important points. I have a dlx pro chrome athletic blue one. I am not facing any issues at all. Thank you
Just got my CB 350 RS .. It is vey good, I drove my father's Classic for last 5 years and then I got my own at age of 23. This bike has character in it, about gearing I always felt that RE should provide 6 th gear but for RS I found it perfect (according to my driving style). For initial 300 kms I got avg around 37 kmpl which is nice. Yes, I read about the brake pad wear , this might have happened in earlier bikes as I get to know about material issues with earlier brake pads. For service cost it should be in same rage for all Brands, depends on how you are using your vehicle.
Thanks for honest and pertinent feedback
I had the issue of break pad for front wheel after 4K + km. It was told to me that the main reason is rainy season. Otherwise the Bike is really so super to drive and experience. Thanks for your video good sharing.
My 3rd free service is coming up. The bike has been giving me 38km/l mileage in the city. But you are correct about the gear ratio and front brake issue. I am not an experienced rider, so I am not comfortable with engine braking. The suspension is a little stiff for small lanes and bad roads. I have installed a handlebar raiser which has made the bike a little more comfortable to ride. It's worth it.

My front brake pad wore out at just 3400km. Then I researched a bit and installed the Vesrah ceramic brake pad and they lasted for another 14000km. The OEM rear pads are quite okay though. You may try Vesrah.
how much do they cost ?

i do have one. almost nearing fourth service 18k. changed rear pads at 13k. honest review and what you said is true dude. keep going.👍
13K or 1.3 K?
It was 13000 km when I changed the rear brake pads. The front one still the stock. It all depends on the way you ride.
@@tinumatthewsso they don't compel you to change them every 5k kms like this youtuber is saying??
@@no22sill Nope. The wear can be identified by the lines marked on the pads. Just check and see if the line is close to the disc, if so replace it.

wonderful and practical review thanks for the update.
Hey i got new cb350 RS 20 days ago and got 750 km done on 21st day but they said my break pads need to be changed on my first servicing how is this possible?
how do i increase seat comfort for my hunter 350, getting butt pain in 30 mins if heavy backpack is there. bought a air seat but air is not retaining maybe a leak not sure. also increases the height.
I agree! I rode it around 14K kms as of now, its a fantastic bike, but service cost is very high.!
Also, my front brakes are already replaced 2 times till date.
Hi Prakyat, I have started watching your videos lately and I must admit you stand out from others as you are completely honest and transparent which is super useful for buyers. Your intent is to bring forth those key aspects which usually gets missed out and prevents buyers from taking informed decison. Please keep up this honesty and don't bother about anything else. I am 100% sure you will eventually win over hearts and would have subscribers beyond your imagination. Best wishes from your brother , Manish !
thank you for your valuable observation. it will affect my future decision to purchase next bike.
Vai classic engine vs hness cb 350 which is better and parts quality engine quality paint quality which best
Great feedback on service cost.. Its difficult to sustain if high maintenance!
Please review cb350rs service cost.
Also suggest alternative.
Very good informative videos.
you are right i got mine changed just in 2000 km and i was shocked. They told me the same thing you said in your vlog that you have to change your brake pads.
Facing the same issue with front brake pads, using hness for daily commuting and also using engine braking but still have to replace the front brakes at 12k as well as 18k km service. Visiting the Gurgaon service Center at the moment. At 18k one when they said that i have to replace my brake pads which BTW cost around ₹1200-1400 i was shocked and asked them the same question that how is that my rear brake is going fine and you’re saying that it has some more life left in it even after 18k km but my front can’t last 6k km. What they said that when used in heavy traffic it wears out quickly, which doesn’t exactly sit right with me. But still have to do replace it.
I completely agree with you on the service quality the bike is as amazing as the day it arrived but this is the only thing which leaves a bad taste in the overall experience of ownership and service.
Your reviews are good
I am also having the same issue, the service cost is coming around 4- 5k for every paid service which i have to do every six months, which is costing me a lot and also facing rust issues. Only reason i am still keeping this bike is for its ride and safety quality. Hope hondaindia resolves this cost issue
Just ask the service guy to do basic service once n costlier one later. They should be OK. Honda will not do anything but your rapport with service guy will do
I also hav CB350RS and my breakpads worn out on only just 2k kms due to last year rainy season and as it was having oem organic break pads. then i used vesrah ceramic break pad and its almost 12k kms and break pads are still in excellent condition(>80%).
Like your thoughts... Honesty should always prevail...
Thank you sir means a lot 🙏
India needs Youth like you.
God Bless All
My h’ness is now 2 years 3 months old, 12000 kms on the odometer, 95% on the highway on long rides, mileage ranges from 42 kmpl to 47 kmpl, Brakes are still fine and has enough bite. I had to change the battery as the machine was idle for 2 weeks and it went dead. ( my previous bike RE Machismo 500 which was with me for 14 years).
Amazing review sir ❤
Do you recomend cb350 for 1st time bike owner ?
These reviews also imply on CB350? And is there any updated version of these bikes will be coming with these problem fixed in near future?
I also completed my 4th service which was paid and the cost is exactly what you said but what I did immediately after 4th service was change the brake pads to ceramic pads which are expensive but since I have used these pads previously I'm sure the duration of the pads will be longer and the best part is the braking with ceramic pads and definitely improved very much. This is a costly upgrade but if it's affordable kindly try it or if anyone has other suggestions or have used ceramic pads and have faced issues kindly reply back. Thank you.. Great video and update kindly do more videos in future.
What is the cost of brake pads ?
Where did you get ceramic brakes? @ service centres ?
I brought the ceramic pads from bikers Arena on shantinagar bangalore, it costed me 2000 per pair and fitting charges 300 at the same place. But today I had issues with my breaks and went to top line Mysore road and I was told the ceramic pads rubs the disc harder and the disc will wear out so they are recommending me to use oem honda pads which costs 861 per pair. Is this true can anyone share thier experience with ceramic pads.
@@bluescorpwin thanks for the information
@@bluescorpwin true bro. OEM is recommended. It's better to compromise on pads than on rotors. !
Hness service is almost the same as Honda City , which means the car's service itself is cheap.

I agree with you friend. Just got the 4th paid service done on Saturday. Paid 3300/- which I feel is high..
Great explain
What you said is exactly correct.i have done 3 paid services till now and every time changed break pads.My service centre topd the same for every 5k to 6k kms need to change break pads.A matter of disappointment

Thats tall gear ratio makes u juggle with the gerar in city..
Same problem here... But now i am use to it..
Just can't slow down under 20 km/r in second gear.
Thanks bro for the genuine review.
I was planning to buy one, but now i am changing my decision. Want to spend my money on more worthy product.
I got my brake pads changed once done 16000 kms. I will check if brake pads need to be changed. My riding is mostly local.

Excellent review. No one talks about these things. If possible do a review like this for every bike. Or talk with owners..
A genuine practical review. Its been 8months i am riding this, and feeling long gears are is actually a big issue in the city traffic this leads oain in palms too..

Regarding the brake pads, especially during rainy season it last only 2000 kms, but then i found nikavi hness brake pads it is only 400-700 rupees for front and rear in Amazon, and it last way longer also.
And the wobbling issue, i face the problem but then i found out that the front bearing was a bit loose, i change the bearing for around 350 rupees then it was fixed
Bhai I,ve purchased the cb hness on 9th of jully on 27th of jully break pads were making noise out of it I called them that I have purchased the bike 20 days before they said you will have to purchased it any how

Bro... ur videos are very useful.. i need ur suggestion i.e im planning to buy a bike like honda cb 350 (1st buyer) i dont know which is good for me... (not regular user) can u ??
Got it....u have mentioned all valid points...and said right...but I need to add one more point....service charges for each parts changed is high and u can see from your bills shown here...service charges is near about costing of parts changed...this I can't swallow ...how is it possible ...take service charges for whole not for each...indont know it sucks. So costing for paid service is always going to be high for sure. Otherwise everything is good in this bike...no issue till now...
Buddy, as well all know no motorcycle is 100% perfect.
CB350 for its price tag is a wonderful machine.
RE has come a long way since their vibrator bullet days, however even today if you ride an RE and a CB350 it's a no-brainer as to which motorcycle, we will choose. RE is making up the numbers just because of its exhaust note, and its legacy however someone who is looking for a motorcycle that will give trouble-free performance will always opt for CB350 in that segment.
wrt the brake pads wearing out quickly there is a CZcams channel "Raj ka Garage" where he has discussed about the Vesrah Ceramic Brake pad which can last longer. The initial investment can be a bit more as it costs around Rs.2600 for both the pads, however his experience suggests that it is worth considering.
An excellent vlog as usual where you explain things in layman's terms.
Can we change in showroom it self or outside of the showroom
Can u calrify were to replace it plz give reply
I've had this bike for 2 years now, and had to change the brake pads on paid service. I was surprised that it happened after only 6000 kms. Can it be due to the awkward positioning of the br lever below the pedal?
Agree with everything in this review. I have gotten used to the gear shifting and does not bother me anymore.
But I'm getting 30 km/litre in the city and really don't understand what to do. Can you suggest something that I may be doing wrong?
Accelerate gradually instead of immediate raise, ensure wheels are filled with right amount of air. I get around 37 in city and 42 in highways.

My height is 6'2, is it suitable for me? Will i feel any discomfort?
I can connect with this review, i got same problem with my 1 week old hness. Horn button is too far from reach, u should hav longer thumb
Why companies charge such high price for rear brake pad? In secondary mafket we get 3rd party brake pad at very low cost. Whats the reason
In that case, the OEM brake manufacturer Nissin needs to look into this.
Wobbling must be arising due to Handle bar end weight distribution difference.

Cb 350 or HD x440? Help me bro....im confused and i always feel like if I'm spending 3.6lakhs for x440(ex showroom) why don't I consider interceptor 650?😅
Iam owning a SP125 for the past 3 years now. Clocked 43k kms till date. I lost my front brake pads at 38k kms. Cost of brake pads is dam high. 1200 rs for a pair. But i felt paying so much after such a long time is ok. Guess what.....the brake liner is still left with 30% life.
Bajaj brake pads are affordable, it's cost under 300 and i haven't change the pad currently my pulsar is running 23k kms. I don't know why hero, honda, yamaha and other companies are charging around 1000.
Pls give a detail about hill riding with pillion on honda highness cb 350 new version, thanks in advance
I did a test ride of cb350 yesterday and I did feel the wobbling on slightly bad roads.
Bought CB 350 Rs last year. I paid a total of 6k for one year maintenance. I had Royal Enfield and it costed me a 10-15k a year. Because I had to keep visiting service center again and again. I changed my brake pad at 1500 km due to Nissin quality issue. Specially in Monsoon.
Cb350 has wobbling issue yes, but only when bike gets into an accident and wheel bearings gets displaced.
Ive ridden the bike over 30K kms now, 2 and half years plus. you are telling that the brakes wear out sooner. But have you compared the braking with other bikes. This brake has phenomenal performance. It has saved me multiple times. its so precise and predictable. And theres a video in youtube also where a guy brakes during drag race cz some splendor guy comes between, and the bike stops from 120 to 20 kmph in just 3sec, which so phenomenal in this segment., Nobody actually talks about the safety it offers. i would say its the safest bike in the segment. Brakes, ABS, Traction control everything works well in order to save us. and in excess the MRF tyres came amlost 28K kms for me. so for that i don't mind changing brake pads frequently for that performance.
Bhai kon sa le bullet ya hines honda
Good job
My thunderbird front brake pads worked for 16 k odo😊
good job one think to add to solve t gear ratio change t front sprocket to 13 t. second for milage air pressure should maintianed with chain condition tightness
This is exactly I was looking for! Well mentioned. I am planning for a bike and have shortlisted 3 bikes so far. RE Hunter 350, CB350RS and Triumph Speed 400. But I have removed Hunter 350 as many of the users have complained about the hard clutch and stiff rear suspension. Triumph Speed 400 is also an excellent bike but somehow I feel the road presence is not good and me being a SUV driver I know how big car drivers how often tend to overlook scanty little bikes :P But the CB350RS looks pretty beefy particularly the rear section and does have a good road presence. But these servicing cost issue is putting me off by a little bit!
Thanks for sharing these issues which really nobody speaks about!

Very informative video
Is it necessary to do service every 6 months?
What do you think, which one is better Honda CB 350 (DLX Pro) - Royal Enfield Classic 350 (Halcyon Dual channel) - Royal Enfield Hunter 350 (Dapper) - Honda Hness CB 350 (DLX Pro). As a general rider, I am in search of a bike suitable for daily commuting as well as occasional tours.
Hmm, i think it is bike specific or brake parts specific, the front brake pads i changed for cb350 is 9k km, and the second brake is still running with 17k and still on, and my rear brake is still on, and I commute long like 2000kms in a month. And please be aware of not adding the fully synthetic honda provide to put oil, in my 3rd service, they suggest to add this , however previous service i added the semi synthetic. The dangerous thing was after i rode for about 1200 km, the full synthetic one got 60% dried up, and i could feel the engine running very hot then after when i looked after a local garage, he suggested go for Castrol 30 5w, and my engine is working like butter since then. Also, my filter is still going on, i suggest if you travel in city please change the air filter in 5k-7k km as supposed to 16k suggested by company, this will not only improve performance but also mileage. For city i suggest to power wash the brake plates as buildup of dust is certainly going to add more friction to brake pads and plate. Suggest to wash once a week
Isn't that what you need when braking ..more friction
I'm using this item, 25000 kms completed.
Year of purchase 2022 may.
Pad changed only once
It's all depends how one understands the system.
My usage totally on rural, hardly 200 mtrs for gear change.
My speed is around 40-60 kms.
Service center efficiency depends on area.
Bangalore was better, Kerala , palakkad is slightly inferior.
But bike is good.

Very true its annoying to change the gear.
What are the solutions.?
Bro, it is a whole different ball game in Mumbai
I changed my brakepads at 5500kms
& my brakepads were cleaned off within 600kms
The dealership itself said that you should go for aftermarket ones as this is a known issue during Monsoons for Mumbai
I was like why didnt you inform me about this when you were changing the pads in the first place
Going forward, will only install aftermarket brakepads
These brakepads cost 1100 per set but quality is barely 400-500rs worth
The service centre guys got it from outside for me for 900 bucks & it has been 3k kms the pads are fine in monsoons.
