  • Today we continue our How to LS Swap series with our 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. This is a custom build ‪@SummitRacing‬ sponsored LM7 LS engine swapped into our older car. I have tried making this series as applicable as possible so it can help as many people as possible with all sorts of different cars.
In this episode we are replacing the driveshaft, speedometer cable gears, transmission dip tube, cooler lines, throttle pedal and cable. If you have any questions please leave them down below. Thank you for watching!

Use that cable and you don't need the bracket on the pedal like I used. Very easy to do it that way!

Tape! It's 2023! Is this STILL the only solution to keeping U-joint caps from going flying? Until we solve that problem no flying cars! We haven't earned them yet!

What would you suggest for a good engine I can put in a 1968 cougar for my grandson. I want it to be peppy but not deadly fast. Are the 4.6 engines good?
    Thank you
