Oberbauenstock 2117m - Schwalmis 2246m / Amazing Ridge Hiking between Canton of Uri and Nidwalden

30.9.2021 / Beautiful autumn ridge hike in central Switzerland. We are starting from Niederbauen, we took the first cable car from Emmeten village. Hike to Oberbauenstock takes 2 hours, T4 difficulty.. from there we follow ridge via Zingel and Gandispitz to Schwalmis, which is amazing view point over the Central Switzerland, Lake Lucerne and Uri Alps.. Ridge needs about 2 hours of hiking time, T3 difficulty.. on the way you can meet some Ibex and mountain goats.. from Schwalmis we descend via "Vorder Jochli" back to village Emmeten, 2and half hours, T3 difficulty..
