Warungs are small family owned restaurants and have a variety of delicious food options available. A large amount of people will chose to eat at local warung's as they are extremely cheap and convenient. Living in Canggu has allowed me to try various amounts of cafes and restaurants, however eating at a warung is still by far my most favourite.
We try at 3 warungs : Warung Local, Tiga Warung, and Varuna Warung.
They are all situated within the heart of Canggu and are accessible from Batu Balong road.
Use this Canggu travel guide as a way to base the cost of living in Bali. If you are on a budget, then eating at such cafes like these will be perfect for you. There are so many fantastic places to eat in Bali and I will continue to explore the islands food, as of yet these are the 3 warungs that I 100% recommend.
Canggu in 2022 is getting more and more busy. The cafes are full, the beaches are vibrant and the vibe is just perfect. If you plan on visiting Bali in 2022 then I highly recommend adding Canggu to your places to stay. If you love healthy living, and are a foodie then this place will be perfect for you!

Love seeing foreigners try to speak bahasa indonesia. Because a lot of them have been living in Indonesia for so long but they never try to learn the local language especialy in Bali. Its kind of sad.

The more protein (from animal) you get in your plate, the more pricey it is
For protein, price-wise rate from warung ; vegetable protein (tempe and tahu) < egg < meat protein (chicken < beef < pig)
If you like potato try asking for perkedel, I think the last warung have one when Hanna pointing on telur

How to go to El Nido, Palawan ? Just take a direct daily flight from Manila, Cebu or Iloilo going to Puerto Princesa Airport in Puerto Princesa City, the capital of Palawan Province , then take a ride on van, bus etc going to El Nido, Palawan. But before you explore El Nido, Palawan, I suggest you must visit first Underground River in Puerto Princesa City, it is the New Seven Wonders of the World and also Bakers Hill in Puerto Princesa City.
