Shotaro always looks like he's having so much fun when he's dancing that it's infectious.
Shotaro just make d ting look effortless and that is just a testament to his level of skill and training. Honestly I feel like both sungchan and shotaro kinda just fit in so well with NCT as a whole so excited to see more from them in 2022. Like SM is just overflowing with talent let's not squander it. But to SM's credit I feel like the teacher/trainers are phenomenal cause you can definitely see so much growth in so many of the member. I really feel like SM really is about we can teach you approach cause when you think about how like Taeyong had never really sang/dance or rap prior to NCT is insane.

Taeyong in Gimme Gimme really does stand out so much!
Gimme gimme was after Taeyong’s hiatus so he really came back ready to show everyone why he’ll always be THAT guy.
A number of us noticed how Gimme Gimme dance practice was not their usual style of sharp, unknown what the choreographer was going for, I felt a couple of the transitions were awkward. (I am pretty sure Doyoung was unwell that day too, if I remember correctly) I don't mind seeing a dance practice that is not basically a performance in street clothes. I like seeing all stages of practice. I also think that a factor is that this was for their most recent Japanese album (a really fun mini album, I am so sad their Japanese releases don't get more attention) so not the regular round of promotions and, with no touring/travel on the horizon, no live stages to prepare for it feels like the choreo was very much made for camera setting rather than live audience. Just a theory :D
Yes, Shotaro REALLY stands out with his skills. There really is no missing his years and years of training and professional background. I imagine he feels he as a lot to learn when it comes to the recording/vocal side as he has less experience there. Over time I am sure we'll see that develop a lot too. Each of them has a slightly different skill set and different strengths. When you are an idol you have to be a jack of multiple trades and I enjoy seeing how they all compliment each other and learn to work together as one team.
shotaro moves are on another level maybe because he’s from a dance crew in japan and you know how the crews are in japan, so his moves are different from other male idol dancers and when you said he is like the choreographer when he danced like that, it just explains more why his moves are insanely good 😌
nct 127 really dance on their own style, they are not afraid dude ahhh thats why i love them but THE LEE BROTHERS ARE ALWAYS SOMETHING.

Honestly?! He’s something else
Shotaro got great mid-lower body control so when he does those subtle movements its so pleasing to watch. Also his energy is not in your face type but at the same time very energetic and professional like if you know what i mean? His vibe is just different. Him, Ten and Yuta are my favorites to watch. Xiaojun ever since MAW ive been noticing him ever since too, great improvement. His stage presence grew so much.

Shotaro and Ni Ki from Enhypen are two beasts, their training shows and it's kind of different as you said, that's not the Korean style, love them
i think that we all always forget that our Shotaro used be a professional dancer and was assigned to agency when he was in Japan
people usually recognize him as "a tiktok dancer" forgetting that he IS a pro dancer
I so agree with what you said about shotaro... moves you can't get in kpop training system.
I feel like Universe was well-placed in terms of members. Like the unit has most (if not all) of NCT’s more well-rounded members, especially in dance. However I think the choreo fit Shotaro, Mark, and Jungwoo the most in terms of style it was very fun to watch and see how much the members have grown in dancing outside of their set units
Agree with NCT 127 since most of the members using their own techniques
That's why i believe NCT Dream is the most synchronized unit in NCT
The way i JUST now noticed how unsynchronized they were in Gimme Gimme but they still did gud tho🙂
5:01 i dont kno when they recorded the practice video for this but ik right before this came out Taeyong had an injured back (he’s still not fully recovered) so maybe he wanted to show he still had it (i could be lookin too deep in this😅)

Idk why but Gimme Gimme didn’t look like a NCT dance practice at all. Many members were really off and looked like they were struggling with the choreography and the needed energy for it.
But it just proves how talented Taeyong is, he looked like he had to prove something to the whole world lmaoo
You really need to watch the MV for "Gimmie Gimmie" to understand the choreography. The whole MV is different than a lot of NCT's MVs and its all about being trapped in a dream where they are sort of teleported in and out of their own dream worlds. The MV has more a chill, creepy vibe and it's not meant to be extremely hype, so the choreography reflects that. This song is one of NCT-127's Japanese songs. Where you thought they were just marking the moves and it looked kind of awkward, I think would make more sense if you see the MV.
Actually the MV is what put me off the song initially when it came out. I don’t think it needs to be extremely hype at all, it’s simply messier at parts which everyone has acknowledged since it was probably just for the mv it make sense why it’s not as clean. I would do the same since it’s not a typical Korean release with loads of performances etc. Watching the video will not change this fact.
Also I noticed doyoung has really gotten better at dancing not that he’s been bad but I feel like he’s gotten his groove,in some kind of way, I never noticed before😂

i don't know) on the dance practice i can see that Shotaro is taking some special part, but on the performance stage he wasn't so prominent for me, i'll check more, and, i hope, he will get more time to shine in some smaller groups in the future. such a great dancer.
but i can feel some others catching the vibe and swag in a different and also comfortable way, it makes me happy. this unit was great💚
p.s.: still..... after seeing Mr Lay on the China street dance i feel that he is one of a kind in dance level for idols. interesting to know if you have seen his stages?)

First of all i really like your Reaction😀Actually i am not a dancer or dont know anything much about dancing but the way shotaro dance its so good. And i think we can see the difference in training beacuse shotaro was trained to be a dancer dancer and dance since he is 5 and the other memebers trained different from him. Every time i see him with the other memebers he has something different. Xiaojun in this Song is a another Level since Make a Wish i see him with different eyes. He has such a good stage present. Jaemin and Yangyang both dont have much lines in the Song but when it comes to dancing these to are always one of my top dancers in NCT. I really like the dance practice for this Song. And lastly i want to ask you if you listen to the album and if you listen to it what is your favorite Song😊
