Hello, sister. Always love to find another Red Rising fan. I am absolutely in love with this series. Reading *Dark Age* for the first time currently.
I am taking inspiration from this video to frame my own discussion video. I had a prior video I was working on, but I was skimming through, reading all my favorite quotes and passages, and discussing nearly every event, and started to realize it would be far too long for most viewers' attention.
I actually didn't realize that Clown and Pebble's real names are not once mentioned. Intriguing.

Lyria seeing her little brother evicerated in front of her was jarring. Tragic.
I forgot that the skinner of Ephraim's men was pardoned. I wonder how they got away with that. How he could be so important that he was let go.
As someone who has lost or been betrayed by almost everyone I've let close, I understand why Ephraim pushes people away.
I for sure agree with Darrow's decision to keep the emissaries private. He knew what was happening and what needed to be done, and he acted accordingly. This story is a good example of how, sometimes, democracy fails.

I don't think Cassius is dead. You didn't actually see him die, or his body.
I'm betting that Darrow and Lysander are going to have an epic confrontation. I really like Lysander. Granted, it has become vile, but I think the original vision of the Society was a glorious concept. It could still be, with someone like Lysander at its helm. I wonder if, at the end of all this, the whole solar system will construct some form of government between the Society and the Republic.
I also really, really like Diomedes. Very noble. And Romulus's and Cassius's death scenes were absolutely glorious.
Kudos to you for holding that big book up for so long.

Electra and Volga are so good from this book 😍 I never thought about the old obsidian possibly being Ragnars dad, but that is an awesome theory. I just put out a review video to, though it’s mostly just a rambling. I would love to do a side video with you for the near book in the series, your theories are amazing!!
