I bought a workbook from Amazon on learning Brazilian Português (it’s a good compliment to the app if you’re someone who likes to write and learns well that way, which I am), but as far as apps are concerned, I like Duolingo as well :) I’ve never heard of Babble, but I shall check it out!
Angie, if you want to learn a new language don't forget to check your local library and see if they offer digital resources like Mango languages. It's kind of like a Rosetta Stone. My library (where I work) offers it for free, even though I'm not in Texas so I can't vouch for that state, but it's worth looking into it. Plus library cards are awesome! You wanna save some money on books, get one! And don't forget that often these days libraries offer free e-audiobooks and e-books through apps like Libby, Overdrive and Hoopla. Save some money to get more makeup...or a house, just sayin'😝
Both those looks turned out super fun and pretty! I'm honestly shocked that this palette is as colorful as it is and that the colorful shades actually have payoff!
This palette is definitely similar to the Summer in St Tropez by BH Cosmetics, but that one is more colorful.
I speak quite a bit of Italian; it's my favorite language. I just love the way it flows. And Italian food is my ABSOLUTE favorite!!!!!!!! I always say, I must have been Italian in a past life!

That yellowy orange omg what a beautiful shade! Never been interested in too faced (way to expensive and boring imo) BUT this palette is really pretty! Also, my Italian ass is so happy (I live near Rome) hahaha I love the way you pronounce things in Italian, it is on point ✨ (omg my ears were blessed with that pistaKio 😂). I LOVE orange and Aperol Spritz as well, this palette is tempting aaah

I just got it today from Amazon and I paid with free shipping 25 dollars and change, I swatched them and it’s so beautiful! Can’t wait to do my makeup tomorrow for my birthday dinner with my children and my brother, don’t pay almost 60 when it was 21 dollars with tax it was 25! Big difference
This is great info! I bought this palette when it debuted so paid full price. But I am in love with this color story, especially living in southern Florida. We have color all around us all year long. So I’m actually thinking about getting a second palette to have for backup.
I've always been a fan of TooFaced shadows in the metal palettes.
I am on a streak of 1097 days on Duolingo with Spanish and a bit of Japanese. It has definitely made my Spanish better! (Japanese is very difficult 😅) I use the free version, and I would recommend it.
And in Italy I say Toscana/Firenze over Rome any day!
My mom, sister and boyfriend have been loving Duo Lingo and all 3 are learning different languages! They get to interact and encourage each other on the app too 😁 and they keep telling me that I'm missing out!

This has to be the first time I got interested of Too Faced's 18 pan format palette. But also like the most interesting and actually colorful palette from the brand.
It's so true that pistacchio is indicative of the quality of gelato, because most of the times (even in Italy) it will taste like almonds since they're cheaper. If you want to visit lake Como I would suggest going to Varenna and maybe take a trip on the "sentiero del viandante", the view Is breathtaking. Love from Italy!
Jen Phelps compared this palette to the Colourpop Malibu Barbie palette and I can't unsee it now. (I'm actually pretty stoked, because I finally just bought that palette for half off) :D

heyyy! i use duolingo and im now fluent in french, i had a friend doing italian and he too is now fluent in italian (his girlfriend is italian and they speak in italian after he learnt it in duolingo). if you don’t give up you can have really good results from it
I'm currently learning Welsh on duolingo bcs of my boyfriend's family and my uni. It's really good to learn the bare minimum and start conversation if you are consistent with the course and its free😊
I use Duolingo to freshen up my French and it’s good . My SO is bilingual in French and says it’s quite good, too :) depending on the language you can have just a few basic levels or hardcore learning that seems never-ending. It feels like the latter with French in Duolingo 😅 I have Swedish on my list too!

Speaking about traveling in Europe... we had traded homes with someone in Holland and we used their car to travel all over including Germany, Switzerland, France and Belgium. Well, we made the mistake of driving in Paris. There are warning signs before you get into the city that if you're not a local they advise you not to drive. And boy were they not kidding! Complete madness!! LOL Won't ever make that mistake again!

We have a lake Como here in upstate NY. And right now is motorcycle ice racing season. So much fun to watch. My first date I had with my husband 22 years ago, was going to a local lake to watch him race on the ice. When he asked me if I wanted to go I said of course I did. I had to go see that for sure. My head couldn't wrap itself around the concept of bikes on ice.

Loved the first look, and the 2nd one was beautiful too!! I've never tried a Too Faced palette before, but this one I just might have to try it out.
I've been to Italy quite a few times and I loved the small towns around Genoa and the entirety of Sicily the most! Florence was a bit underwhelming to me but that might've been because I was there on a school excursion with my arts class and we basically visited 15 churches and museums a day for an entire week, it was just exhausting lol. Venice is breathtaking as well but I wouldn't visit during the summer months, it's extremely crowded.
Beautiful looks! Having several TF palettes, I find that their shimmers are best used with a finger or glitter glue, but i feel they perform decently with a damp brush too. I'd just rather use fingertip application.

You are absolutely correct about using public transportation in Europe instead of renting a car. I speak from experience as an American who rented a car to travel from northern France to Amsterdam. Big mistake. Huge. 🤦🏼♀️

Florence is my FAVORITE city as well. I LOVE the old narrow streets of that city more than any other I visited. Roma was nice but it didn’t have that old Italy feeling at all. I like the north of Italy more than the south, in general. Might be the sunflowers, I don’t know. Lake Como is beautiful. I have NEVER rented a car in Europe *except to go to rural NW Ireland* and wouldn’t even recommend it. It is expensive to park, Italy has all those crazy toll roads, and you can see and experience more on foot than you can in a car anyway.
When I first saw this and saw swatches it looked like it had too many warm browns to go with the colorful shimmers but it actually has some color. I first was interested when I saw the poured purple looks like the CT pop shot. Then I saw a swatch comparison right before I came here to watch your video and it’s close just missing a hint of blue. I wonder layered with the poured light blue or over a dark/medium blue or purple it would be a complete dupe. This has me intrigued. I like the smaller palettes they made like the teddy bear one with the interesting toppers. I feel like after the company was sold they are staring to come back. I heard the last choc wasn’t loved though. I almost bought the lipsticks on sale at ulta, wish I had grabbed them.
I can’t say I’ve ever even thought about TooFaced palette “that’s cute” but this one looks nice. Not ‘I’ll buy it’ nice but nice for being TooFaced. It looks like they’ve listened to people and finaly came up with tin palette that’s not neutral with pop of blue/pink.

I LOVE the color story of this palette! However, I will wait for a sale to get it - I'm on a no-buy right now, so I'm not in a hurry.
I'm so torn! I've never got on with their formula, even in the tin package, mainly the matte formula but this looks so good! I've really tried to love their palettes in the past because I've really enjoyed the shimmers but I don't want to be disappointed again 😭 with this being the first palette you've bought, I don't know if they've changed their formula from that palette until this one
I have doubts about their shadows also, every time I get watery eyes.
As someone who recently purchased it and returned it…it’s not that good. The mattes weren’t that pigmented I had to layer them and they were kinda chalky. Then the shimmers are so beautiful but they were very hard. Like I would go in with my finger to try and pick some up and it was like hard pan or something. I wasn’t a fan. But that’s my take on it lol.
