Wendy it’s soooo not a pile of nautiness! We’ve all got books we haven’t coloured in and pencils that we don’t use much , I’m totally with you on the size of books 🙈and length of time it takes if you’re a slow colourist ( which I am ) ( I take my sweet time 😂) I love a challenge but also love my books that I find manageable. A lot of the books you are showing i also have on my untouched books pile🤭 and i just enjoy the most of them by flipping them and admire the art work while drinking my tea🥰. And yesss im also keep buying books because i love it so much!

Oh yes, most definitely, it doesn't really matter to me how many I've coloured, or not, but making this video made me count, which was a bit higher number than perhaps I'd thought before. I still love them all, its all ok👍❤️
My husband challenged me to use pencils I've never used and to color a page in every book I own this yr. So far, I've used 2 sets I've never used and found that I love them.
Lol! I know exactly what you mean, those romantic country books takes soooo long, it is easy to get distracted from them. They are lovely, but the pages feel huge to me. Thanks for watching Julie, x💗
All just lovely and ABSOLUTELY I' m in the same boat( i have a few that you have) . I think, relax , enjoy them and if you feel like colouring in one,do... I have both the rooms ones by Chiaki Ida and have only coloured on one ( the one where the girls have different hobbies) i love that one and might get a second copy. The very detailed ones make me panic a bit too... 😊

I have tons of books I haven’t read yet and games I haven’t played yet and now the same as you with coloring books I probably won’t color in for a long while. 😂😂😂😂❤. I also have four Paintings I’m working on. And artistic mind can get hectic. But I’ve learned to not stress it, to slow down and take a breath. ❤❤❤❤ by the way the pages you have colored in your other books are absolutely beautiful.

I think we all are guilty of having uncolored books. I know I am. I'm also a slow colorist. So I won't even get close to finishing too many books in the rest of my life. I have yet to finish one lol. I noticed a lot of your books are like mine, hard! I was collecting mythographic books until I started realizing how many there were lol. Thanks for sharing your uncolored books. Enjoyed watching!
Oh yes Mythographic books are tough I think, I've only got one, and until I tackle it, I've banned myself from any more of them, they are so beautiful, but you are right, they are so hard to work in. I do like a hard book, I don't tend to buy anything too simple, but these does mean it takes me ages to get much done. Its good to know I'm not on my own with a collection, x ❤️👍
@Wendy's Colouring no your certainly not alone. I have banned myself from buying them too. I do buy easier books though too for those times when I don't feel like a challenge.
I have about 5 Mythographic books(mainly Joseph Catimbang’s because to me his artwork just flows better.)….I use my fineliner sets and alcohol markers in them. Too “hassle-y” to work in pencil imho. But they are gorgeous!
Hello I am new to your channel and I find it quite interesting. I'm very happy that I found your channel. I just want you to know you are not alone and not coloring and a lot of your coloring books I do like the color in my and I am also a very slow colorist. I use colored pencils most of the time although I do have practically every medium that there is to have LOL. I did tell myself this year I will get more better at coloring more thing with a lot of the mediums that I do have. Happy coloring!

Show your favorite books and dont be so critical by yourself. Slow or not slow this is not a question Im also slow colorist so Im not critical by myself. The important thing is that you enjoy the process.
These books are all so gorgeous, surely it doesn't matter that you've not coloured in them yet 😄 I've got a fair few untouched (although admittedly it's nowhere near three figures 🫠) I'm just colouring in Mythographic Voyage as we speak, it took me aaages to build myself up to it, but I'm actually really enjoying it now. I was the same with Kingdom of Curious Creatures.
Oh yes, totally agree, I do love them all, I've no regrets with them, it was just a few more than I realised before doing this video. I'll get to them in the end. ( I hope😉) xx 👍
Do you have a link or even just a name for the watercolor book you showed us at 27 minutes? Enabling others means helping us out with buying new books! I used to be like this about 2 years ago but I was determined to color at least 1 page in every book I had. I finally managed to do that last year around July and I feel much better about new books now lol. I can honestly say I've colored in every one of my books and even found some that no longer appeal to me. Those I gave away or sold, someone should enjoy coloring in them. Especially as my coloring style has evolved and I know some old books I won't ever touch!

OMG. Wendy….are we twins?? I mean, of course, in the philosophical sense…..because: I too have tried to make lists like “Books To Be Colored A First Page In” and added them in(with EXACT-EACT!-Pages To Be Colored First lol)….NOPE. My inner Rebel Grrl immediately sabotages my efforts. “Whut? Nah girl; not gonna do THAT. I think I will continue coloring in this book instead. So what if I have colored in it all this month? Those OTHER books can wait.” Etc etc….yeah. I sympathize! Yet here I go again: just got 15 more books last month and 3 this month. Oopsy! “Low Buy 2023” goal utterly TRASHED. 🤷♀️😂🙄
PS: I have every book you showed here except Amandine Jung’s, Jasmine Beckett-Smith’s (never did go for the huge-eyed waif style much), and the Marcos Chin one(which I think is intriguing me, may just get it, it’s on Amazon US). I LOVE Tomoko Tashiro’s books and I have her Princesses book and the Fashion one(bought in 2022). A few of the books here(Karolina Kubikowska’s for example) I haven’t “gotten around” to coloring in either! Lol..too busy painting, drawing etc. And coloring in Vintage My Room! (It’s really a cool book isn’t it?) Anyhoo. Thanks for yet another great video.

I only ever colour what I feel, I really struggle to make myself colour things, better to go with the flow. I've not edited it yet, but it will be up in a few days, . Dream room is a super book, great paper in it as well, start on one of the simpler pages, there a few pages with only a few bits and pieces in, to give yourself a feel for the paper. Its a fun book, although I know it feels big. xx👍

Me too….”hard” and complicated are my weakness! Love ‘em. Of course they take foreeeverrrr to color. But needs must! I am simply addicted.
