This handle is a game changer for us vloggers. It gives us way more capabilities with the GoPro 10 Hero Black that we love. No more trimming the beginning and end of each piece where we reach to turn it on and off.
@@AirPhotography Agreed but you solve one problem and create another for some. The side port that you plug into is also the same port that an external mic or wireless plugs into. So by extending battery life you limit your sound quality or microphone options don't you?

I made my own version over a year ago using the Ulanzi 10,000MaH battery handle with a mini tripod added on the bottom that a really good CZcams channel recommended awhile ago (Yes I mean this channel) paired with the wireless remote control. Seems like a good investment for someone new to GoPro but most of us old timers have like 20 batteries to burn through to justify spending the money on them.
Hi Sean, Thank you for another helpful video. I wonder how quiet the Volta is. Currently I use the Floaty grip and find that it is noisy. The sound of my hand shifting on the grip goes straight into the camera making nuisance noise that ruins the video. I hope to wrap the Floaty with a terrycloth tennis racket grip to make it quieter. Thoughts?

You are the only one that mentioned the tripod mount on the bottom. You are good so may I give you some advice and that is when you begin a sentence your voice is pronounced but then your voice goes very low. Practice to keep your voice level consistant because your audience misses many details of your description. Sorry I am an old speech teacher. You are very good in what you do though. Keep up the good work. I love my GoPro 11 and you helped me deside to purchase it. Thank you and God bless.
Love your stuff!! Question....I just got the Hero 10, updated to 1.4, but my PC doesn't recognize the Hero 10 when I plug it in to offload the media from the SD Card. I can offload straight from the SD card but I have to remove it from the Hero 10. My issues or GoPros??
What is the weight? with and without Gopro, I use Hero10 with a default handle and find it very lite and pocket friendly, I don’t have to carry an extra sling to carry. Just put it in Jeans pocket and ready to go, One reason I find it best.

I can’t remember offhand what it was but they included in the checkout process it’s bundled in with the shipping cost. So you can add it to your cart and it’ll give you an estimate so you’re not blindsided with the big duty charge. Plus it’s prepaid
It's $91 with your GoPro subscription. The Bluetooth remote is $56. That leaves $35 for the battery and handle/tripod. It looks pretty sturdy. Think I'll give it a go.
Ive just got the Volta, I charged it fully with a fully charged batt in the gopro, next day both were totally flat! It something draining the power overnight? Any ideas?
I have an older GoPro 7 Silver. This would make an excellent upgrade as it doesn’t have a recoverable battery. The one downside I have noticed though is that my camera does not charge while recording. Do the newer GoPro’s charge while recording?
Yes it advice like this will keep the internal battery of the GoPro topped up. In fact I don’t even need to have a battery in your GoPro and this will keep it powered
Can you run the GoPro directly from the Volta without using an in camera battery? I am wondering if that could help significantly with overheating issues.

I did received yesterday my grip but it doesn't do anything apart from charging, no updates no Bluetooth connection prompts nothing I switched on and off again and nothing happened
Yes it does. The only difference is you have to add it like a Bluetooth remote. I’ve had several people ask I may make a video about that and how it works

I wonder how you managed to get this the next day . I have ordered as I indicated from Gopro and included express shipping and will get the thing will not get to me until 7 days after the order . The product looks good but their delivery is pathetic as was their support when I called them. Currently thinking i will just throw it in the bin when I get it as I currently do not trust what they are providing
So I have the hero 10 and I am taking it on vacation and I took some videos in salt water. Should I wash the salt water out of the camera or just leave it
It’s always a good idea when using your camera in saltwater to rinse it thoroughly afterwards with freshwater. Just make sure all the doors are sealed properly first
Nice video, as always! For $129, I could buy a much bigger battery bank for timelapses. I always use the voice commands with the Rode Wireless mic system on a shorty stick for vlogging. the clips aren't longer that a few minutes at a time. I can't see how this accessory gives me anything I don't already have.
It’s over priced and out of date, they could have done this easily 6 years ago with the technology they had; it would have boosted their market for sure, same for the media add on ; instead they were focused on launching an almost identical camera every year that we didn’t wanted. They are too late in the game and it shows.

I wonder about any overheating issues (from your last video) that the GP10 would experience with the claimed 4hours at 5.3K 30fps.
Had mine plugged in for several hours no noticeable heat. Nor did the Volta get hot.
I think when they say you can record for over four hours it’s total amount of usage not continuously. I assume it would overheat like normal

How did you swivel the top?? I can't get it to move.
Edit: mine is like impossible to move but I put the thumb screw in to give myself some leverage.
It is very tight and very hard to swivel without a GoPro attached.

Once you put the Volta battery door on the GoPro, good luck getting it off...I've tried and I don't think it's possible...
