Love, LOVE this girl!- I still can't believe my eyes...only 16 yrs old... 4:44, how she mocks Odette, teases Siegfried, just plays with this character. Her use of her hands, arms, perfect poise, my goodness it's a miracle!
A million bravas young lady! As Sara Krysteva, judge and director of Sofia Ballet, has said- there are endless technicians, but the most important quality is soul, the ability to make you laugh or cry, and the ohes who possess that are the people of greatest value. Soo Bin Lee is one of them. I totally agree, just mindboggling!

Yesterday, she played the heroin, the princess mermaid in the "The song of the mermaid" in Seoul, the last performance before this to be performed in NYC in Oct. It was the first time for me to see this amazing young and beautiful ballerina Soobin Lee.
Guys... I ve seen many worldclass Korean ballerina of the KNB or UBC, however, this young lady from Korea National Univ. of Arts, was the one with truly exceptional level of expression, elegance and quality movement. She will be joining Boston Ballet soon, so it'll be hard to see her in Seoul anymore; I just wish her to have even more wonderful achievement in the near future. The mermaid on August 10th, 2018 deserves the biggest standing applause with a big "BRAVO!"
인어공주 보셨었나봅니다. 최근에 이수빈양 보스톤으로 갔다고 들었는데 조금은 아쉽네요. 러시아나 파리로 갔으면 좋았을 것을. 하지만 어디서나 빛날 것으로 의심하지 않습니다.
Wow! She brings so much to the role, not just the perfection of her dance but her expressions and emotion are PERFECTION! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
She adds vivacity to the character which makes it even more enchanting than many interpretations. I have always thought that Odile has to be sultry and mature but this performance changed my perception of the character. Well done
She is genius embodied. Have not seen a black swan as impressive since Makarova.
I was comparing her to Makarova too. No Odile has yet bested Makarova in the electric, heart thumping impact she was capable of generating in her ballroom entrance, but this young ballerina, aided by stage action logically blocked, does a very good job. So often in Russian and East European Swan Lakes, the dramatic impact of Odile's arrival is blunted because they have her and Von Rothbart running on at the beginning, doing a half turn to piqué arabesque, then running off again. To where, and for what?!
