From what I know, "the bird man" only despawns when someone dies to him (As Sawayle (?) said to Puff, "You need to accept your fate"). "The bird man" can despawn if you don't look at him or go near him BUT if he's in chase mode (when he starts to chase and attack the player) he won't despawn unless you or he dies. ENJOY!!

If anyone is curious about the new creature:
SCP-4975 is a vaguely humanoid entity with various avian attributes, the most notable of which is its beak. Its body structure is long and thin overall, and its limbs taper off into formless extremities, lacking distinct digits. A thick, hardened skin layer covers the entirety of its body, including its beak.
Its cervical vertebrae are not interconnected, and appear to be able to move independently of one another. SCP-4975 continuously rotates them one vertebra at a time, from back to front, ending with its head, in a rhythmic fashion. This produces a clicking or cracking sound with each movement. SCP-4975 only stops moving its neck in this manner when it is preparing for an attack.
If I'm being honest, they completely bungled the ENTIRE GIMMICK of this Scp. They turned an actually pretty scary Scp into another "chase player while being really loud" monster like most other dwellers.
When it starts stalking the person there necks turn like a clock, the person starts to hear a clicking noise, when the clicking stops they see the scp and die

This stops mobs from spawning in your house

Pretty certain the creators of these mods thought of a counter to the slabs, so good luck.

Scp 4975 is an bird-like extremly large creature that hunts its victims over many weeks or even months, stalking them. While on a hunt the target will hear a consistant clicking noise which the creature makes by spinning his long neck making the bones click. Tjose sounds will keep the target annoyed but the creature will remain invisible to every one and the sound can only be heard by the target. Once the noice stops it will turn visible for the target ONLY, attack it, rip it apart while the target is alive and devour the meat chunks it ripped off. Anfter feeding is complete it will go into a sort of slumber for a feew weeks or even months until the next hunt begins... and watch out if you hear something click... maybe your its next target....
Hope this summary of 4975's lore helps out. It is, in my mind, one of the creepiest scps out there and one of my favorites
as a scp fan this is very true and btw other people cant see it only you can when its mauling you

Considering this SCP's lore, that's purely intentional. In a nutshell, it's the grim reaper, but instead of being there after you die, it is the reason you die.

The 'Easy Villagers' mod adds trader blocks that protect the villagers from being changed and keeps them from being attacked. Just need to place a villager and the job station inside it and you're golden. Also trading with Villagers gets you a decent amount of xp as well.
there is also a very helpful mod that i use when farming is (RightClickHarvest) like the name it lets you right click your crops and it will brake and re plant it for you :)

Edit: try adding the irritator mod, its a 9.5 block tall creature and looks like the rake and scp-096, the easy villagers mod allows u to create custom blocks like iron farms, and a normal farm with crops inside, and consider turning on subtitles

About the bird this is how it works but i don't know if its different in minecraft but in his lore only the person it attacks can see it clicking basically annoys the victim until eventually it decides you shouldn't live anymore when your gaurd is down

I suggest adding Xp tomes so you can keep your xp when u die ( it keeps your xp in the book if you put it in there ) so if the birdman kills you, you keep you levels!

I have an idea. It might break some things, but if you disable the End of Herobrine mod, enter your world, leave, reenable it and log back in, wouldn't all the husks be deleted? (Keep in mind it could delete some other things, but it might fix your problem)

What if after the barn, you build a watch tower of some sorts so you can easily scope out mobs and also to avoid dying to the bigger mobs

As For the husks you can actually kill em when herobrine spawns them but you need to slay them in creative or else they will stay (or else your house will be the husk's and not yours anymore lol)

Yea, so long story short, that bird like figure is SCP-4795. Class: Euclid. It is an anomaly that stalks its prey with this frequent clicking sound for months/weeks at a time until it finally stops completely. Then you're it's next meal for it. So it basically stalks you until it hunts and chases you down till death K not long story short ig lol
