Was a pleasure lifting with Larry and the team. I will deliver 800
Success comes from failure.
Let's go big man, you got this. Stay humble and driven.
You've got it champ
We had an amazing time working with you!
You got this!!
The thing is when Julius hits a PR it’s also a world record
Thats basically with every World record Holder lol
He failed the number they click-baited the video with.
@@yamanmustafa still impressive af
@@yamanmustafa I hate clickbait, but this wasn't really it. They couldn't really elucidate that it was just an attempt without giving away that he failed. Plus it's more fun to watch the video without knowing whether he succeeds or not.
This tattooed and extremely obese person, who takes drugs, will have a very short life span.
Unfortunately it will not be short enough.
Maddox is too hard on himself, he's such a perfectionist.
Yeah, he worries too much about the bench not even, floor uneven, why the weight is moving slow
His bench record is about to be broken pal in the next few months so you can cheer on the new world record holder
@@StarzzyJJASD by him?😂
Which is probably why hes a world record holder and as he mentioned, injury free.

Having Larry Wheels as a spotter while benching heavy is probably the most comforting thing ever
"all you bro, all you" 😂
Unless you're Ryan Crowley...
@@dustynkhalilzadeh considering Larry prevented it from literally killing Ryan I’d disagree lol
True but honestly, a 790lbs loaded bar.. Noone can spot that/safe that, if it really falls down. Even a larry wheels maximum curls 100+kg..
So you need 3 strong spotters anyways.. One each side
I'm 3 years old and I can curl 790kg for 69 reps as my warm up. is that good?
This legend benches more than he deadlift and Squat. The strongest gym bro of all time indeed.
Bench press wise yes
@@hamza361 no shit that why he said gym bro, the types of dudes at the gym where their bench is stronger than their other lifts
Honestly, I think he all his maxes are within like 30-50 pounds of eachother
True, but then again, if you are benching almost 800lbs... It's not a shame if you "only" Squat and deadlift 750😆
When he starts training the deadlift and squat more he’ll surpass 800 on both fairly quick he’s in the 700s already
These guys are so humble. I love how they listen to each other without ego. Dude barley missed benching 790 and talks like he failed in life....geesh!
I wouldn’t say that means hes humble it just means hes hard on himself (im jot saying hes not humble)
Man I love this channel. Power lifting, armwrestling, bodybuilding, strongman. Larry covers it all.
790lbs is Insane!! He is soo Strong.

humble; brilliant guy; its always the best/strongest that are the nicest and most humble. not cocky or arrogant; just a pure master at his craft.
What’s scary is how Maddox is so strong at bench with such a narrow grip like that. It’s terrifying
I hope he gets 800. Dude has probably taken 20 years off his life, at least, living into his mid 30s weighing close to 500 lbs. It's a huge sacrifice. I really hope he gets what he's after.
well he plans to lose weight after getting hs bench goals, and he's still young enough that if he gets healthier he can still live as long of a life as anyone else.
Please lose the weight Big boi, at least the belly......we want a longer life....
Yea the weight and the gear. That shit shorten your life dramatically. His heart is not happy
I wonder how much will he bench after he lose half his weight
@@DawgFL literally Eddie hall, terry Holland’s and zydrunas savickaz have all done this - it’s not impossible
So the issue with 735 was that the guy on the left helped with lift off and the guy in the right didn't. So to avoid an imbalance they decided for only Larry to lift off for 790. The only problem was that it made the lift off slower. They should have had Larry and both guys on the side lift off in cue. Because of the slow down and time under tension Julius flared out too quick trying to utilize his energy before it was used up. Other than that every other cylinder was firing off. You got 800 big dawg!
Great comment
This. 100%
Yeah at that level the liftoff has to be perfect
Yep It looked like a slow liftoff, definitely could've been the difference.

Thanks Julius and the rest of the crew for the details and the motivation. I like to watch your videos before my heavy day on chest every week. 👍
Awesome benching by everyone! It’s amazing the strength all of you guys have! Be safe fellas, Be the best and be proud of your accomplishments!💪🏼🤜🏼🤛🏼✌🏼
I feel like he could've hit 735lbs for like 3 reps, that's insane how easily he treated that
You are everywhere, glad to see your a gymbro :)
Actually that 730 looked slow and sticky right at the middle. Had massive doubts about the 790 after seeing that which were sadly proven right...

@@dokjovanski1080 😂😂 thanks for letting us enjoy you being a complete idiot Mr "scientist lifter"
I’ll say this to Julius. He mentioned letting down others that look up to him as motivation for not pushing through. Scrap that, seeing you manage to lift 790 pounds raw is incredible itself and it shows us that not everyone will succeed a lift and that’ll bring with time, dedication, and strength to build up that energy and strength to hit a new PR or whatever ones goal is. It’s shows us that not everyone is perfect and it’s not a straight incline through your life.
